A Familiar Face

One afternoon, as the sun is beginning to set, a man walks out of the Seshtau embassy dressed in a green shirt with black pants and a Seshtau favor hanging from his hip, the corner panel of the favor has a purple and black square. He has blonde hair, tied back loosely in a ponytail and blue eyes that search the area warily.He reaches up and places his hand against his neck, covering the purple Haltija marking there. He looks around cautiously and slowly removes his hand when he realizes no one is really paying him any attention.After taking in his surroundings, the man begins walking. He heads to the Artisan’s Guild.

Upon his arrival, Sylvia lowers the wards and raises them behind him. "New face. How can I help you?"

"My name is Julien. I'm looking for Zuiigri." He says softly.

Sylvia makes a face and leans closer. "Gonna wanna speak up around here. So much noise." She raises an eyebrow. "You said you're looking for Zuiigri?" 

He nods. 

"ZUIIGRI!!! Sylvia shouts above the noise of the guild. "Wait here." 

Zuigrii calls back as he starts crossing the forge floor. “YEAH! What is it?” As he gets to the desk, he sees Julien. “Oh hello. How can I help you?”

Julien smiles at Zuiigri. "I figured out what I'd like to have made. I came to give you the specifics."

He pulls out a small piece of parchment. He unfolds it and smooths it out.

"I'd like an adamantite dagger. A 14" blade with a 5" handle." He quirks an eyebrow. "And I have some other specifics but I don't know how this works exactly. Does the Artisan's Guild also imbue it with magic? Or do I take it to the Mage's Guild for that?" He holds out the parchment. "Here are the other specifics, if that is done here."

Zuigrii thinks for a minute before saying anything. “Why don’t we sit and talk for a minute.” He leads Julien over to some chairs against the wall and waits for him to sit before continuing. “So that is definitely a powerful and reliable weapon you have in mind. I’d love to work on it for you. It’s also going to be expensive. I’m not expecting you to pay for it out right but we might need to figure something out. I will go ahead and get started on it as soon as possible because Jade trusts you, so I know we can work something out. If you have something in mind let me know.”

Julien follows Zuiigri over and takes a seat. He listens and then smiles.

"I know what I'm asking for is going to be expensive. I didn't come into this without that realization. While I do appreciate your concerns and willingness to work with me on payment, it honestly shouldn't be any issue to pay for." He chuckles. "I was an accomplished alchemist before I left for Leib Olmai and I didn't take all of what I made at the time with me. Not to mention, now that I'm home, I'm working to sell my alchemy again."

He quirks an eyebrow. "However, I haven't had a weapon made for me in over ten years so... I may be a little behind on what the market is like nowadays. So, get me a price and I'll get you the money. Whether through my own means or my mother if I have to. I'm definitely not going unarmed anywhere else again."

Zuigrii pulls a small notebook out of his pocket and flips through some notes. “So I don’t have exact numbers because I’ll have to get with someone for the rituals but at cost you’re looking at over 1000 gold but shouldn’t be as high as 1400. Probably somewhere in between. I think I can get it made for you within a few weeks. I’ll send a message with an exact price in the next few days. Does that work for you?”
