A portal opens...

Miquella looks at Selena, “You do realized he currently shut us down. Meaning if something were to happen we cannot help.“ He places his hand on his forehead. “What is this man’s name? Then I will go see if he can lift this ‘protocol’ up.”

The woman watches Miquella a moment and then shakes her head. "The wards will not lower for anyone but Ivan. He's the Elf you saw storming through here. He activated the guilds protections." She stands and walks over holding out her empty hand. "I'm Lorielle. I don't believe we've been formally introduced."

"It's fine. I can wait. I'll be fine out here and nothing's getting in there. I'm here to chat with you and Marq about stuff and things."
She crosses her arms over her chest and leans against the outer ward, nodding in agreement to Lorielle. "She's loyal to the guild."

Miquella relaxes a bit, “very well I will see if I can talk to Ivan.” He then looks towards Lorielle still in a state of confusion shaking her hand, “It’s nice to meet you. My name is Miquella. If you can excuse me for a moment. I am going to see if Ivan would like to discuss what is happening with the group.” As he waves his heads to the people with him. He then turns heels and makes his way to the inner sanctum. He stops before the ward. “Please work….ward down?”

[The ward does not drop]

Lorielle sighs. "He's got us on lock down. Until Ivan is ready, no wards will lower and no guardians will obey new commands." She taps the box in her hands. "He should be out soon though. I believe I have what he seeks."

Selena sighs again and nods. "Yep. Just gotta wait for him. It's best not to interrupt anyway." She smiles to herself for a moment. "At least I'd prefer to not interrupt him. He's got a damn good left hook." She rubs her jaw and laughs wiggling her fingers. "Tingly."
