As the page turns

Jade speaks up.

"OH absolutely not. Please do appraise these but they are not a donation to be hoarded. It is already so shameful that the people of this land hoard and gatekeep knowledge."

Jade crosses her arms

"Label each of these for what they are. I plan to make a college with these books so we can better arm our citizens. The way you run this guild is ridiculous. You all should be ashamed. Maybe more town folk wouldn't die if they had been armed with knowledge. "

Miquella looks at Jade and smiles, and then back at Kethri. Patiently awaiting a response with a look that says, “I mean she ain’t wrong.”

Kethri stares at Jade for a moment before looking at the books again. "I'll have them appraised and return them to you. I'm sure our librarians won't mind taking some time to look over these so don't worry about payment." She points to the first stack of books. "May I take these back now?"

Miquella pushes the books forward, “thank you”
