Whispers on The Wind

After a few minutes, Saige completes her circuit around the tavern and saunters over to the bar. She yawns, sharp teeth flashing, then leans over Storm like a cat, resting her head on the Draconian’s shoulder.

“Mission accomplished. Everyone here knows spoons aren’t real now.”

*Winking at Jade and saying wryly.* Just because you got lucky... 2 times. *He nudges her a little*
"Stupid magick"

Storm twists to place a quick kiss on Saige's head. "I'm sure we'll get rid of spoons before long."

Julien watches Blodwulf as he nudges Jade and chuckles at his comment. Lucky? Huh?"

In the corner table is a group of Draconian soldiers. Clearly off duty as they are drinking and singing and barking jokes at one another, amid the other noise in the tavern. One soldier though, has been watching the exchange happening since Blodwulf walked in. This soldier leans forward and grabs his mug of ale and the soldiers mug beside him. He leans into the table and says something and then takes both mugs and approaches the small gathering. 

The whole table turns to watch as he walks away.

He walks right up to Blodwulf. The soldier has short, side swept black hair and blue eyes with yellow scales on his exposed skin. He has a big grin on his face and he looks from Blodwulf to the others, giving the Baroness a salute with his mug of ale.

"Hi everyone. Baroness. Pleasure to see you all." He locks eyes with Blodwulf and holds out a mug of ale. "I was just over there-" He jerks his head back to the table he came from. "And couldn't help myself. Commander Noctis Lionheart. And you must be the pirate that worked under Knightmaster Selena for a while. Now with Seshtau, if I understand correctly?" He looks at Blodwulf's favor and then back up, still smiling.

Storm looks at Jade and then Blodwulf before landing back on Noctis. She chuckles and drinks her whiskey, shaking her head. 

Julien quirks an eyebrow at Noctis' approach but doesn't comment.
 

 

Saige abruptly lifts her head from Storm’s shoulder, swiveling towards Jade and Julien with a confused squint.

“Jade, you smell like Julien.” Her brow furrows, then her eyes go wide. “Did you two have the- mpph?!”

Her next words vanish under Storm’s sudden hand clamped over her mouth. Saige blinks between Storm and Jade, muffled noises slipping out as she tries to finish the thought.

Jade blushes slightly but tries to not show her embarrassment. She avoids eye contact with Saige, trying to act like she doesn't know what she was about to say. Her eyes eventually end up on Julien and she smiles.

*Tensing his muscles and ready for any movement*

"I'm gonna cut to the chase, Noctis Lionheart. Ranks and titles don't impress me, I spent some time in the Volarian guard, so since you know so much about me, you should know that. You can talk to me as a soldier. Secondly, I'm not a big fan of people knowing me and me not having any idea who you are. So since we have that little problem, Noctis, state your business or leave myself and my friends alone, because you're clearly one inebriated."

*Blodwulf take his attention from the commander and looks at Julien" "Yes sir, nothing but luck... 2 times. I uh... Was having an off day... 2 times. *Changing the subject and speaking with Jade.*

"Could I borrow Julien?" He asks while pointing to a nearby booth in the tavern. "I'd like to speak with him about some...things. it's nothing bad, but it is a somewhat sensitive topic."
