Mari walks up

Miquella relaxes, “The orcs have bee. Taken care of. The Shaman escaped but the rest have been dealt with. There was a couple of casualties but that is it.” He continues to glance at the entrance to make sure no one pops up.

“You know, I don’t really know what was going on with the whole orc thing. Something about them kidnapping people?”

Saige’s brows furrow, trying to remember the events.

“Yeah, most of my memories of that whole thing have kind of been overwritten by the terror of being ripped apart by a skeletal drake. That wasn’t fun at all. The people are safe, though.”

She looks at Mari, concerned.

“You should probably be more careful in the forest, Mari. I think the orcs are all gone now, but you should still be careful. You’re really good at hide and seek though, so maybe they wouldn’t find you!”

Saige drops her voice to a whisper before saying to no one in particular, “Man I really want to play hide and seek now….”

Mari relaxes a bit as Miquella does and nods to Saige with a laugh.
"I am really good at hide an seek. I don't like fighting or confrontation so I spend more of my time traveling through the roots instead of out in the open. But I'll have to send word around to the outlying villages to make sure they're ready for potential orc attacks. But they had a drake? What's a drake? Is that a dragon?! Did they have a skeletal dragon! How is anyone going to prepare for that?"

Miquella reassures Mari, “Don’t worry about the drake it has been taken care of as well. However still spread word. Since the shaman escaped they will return eventually.”

“Hmmm, you know maybe I should send a warning to my family. I mean they’re like, really really out there in the woods, but it’s just us out there, and if something happened they’d be all alone.”

Saige holds her hands together nervously.

“Basil’s really good at fighting but I don’t think he could handle that much. What do you think?”

She turns to Mari and Miquella, waiting for answer.

"Yeah I think it's a good idea to send out some messenger birds. Can anyone else in your family speak with animals like we can or do we need to write a letter or just go out there?"
She turns to Miqella. "Can you do the magic floating note thing mages do? The one where it just finds the person it's supposed to go to? That would probably be quicker to get the message out."
