Mari walks up

"uum.." Mari looks in through the ward and nervously wrings her hands. "I guess it's safer and more private in there. And it's light so it's not that bad."
She looks back to Saige and Miquella and smiles.
"Yeah. We can talk in there. That's fine. I need to get used to being inside buildings anyway. Apparently it's weird that I don't like them."
Mari shrugs as she looks to Miquella ready to step in and follow where she's lead, fidgeting with her fingers as she looks around at everything.

Miquella glances up and smiles “Ward down, please come in.” When they enter “ward up”. He looks at the both of them and smiles. “Please make yourself at home. Would you like anything to drink?”

“Oh no, I totally get it! I’d rather be outside too! When I was a kid I would try to sleep outside with all my friends but then Anise would be all like, ‘Saige you have to come inside, there’s a foot of snow out there!’ And I’d be like, ‘I’ll be fine if I’m cuddling this pack of wolves!’ And then she’d get Basil to drag me inside and then I’d spend the rest of the night putting charm poisons in her food and convincing her to let me bring the wolves inside if I could not be outside.”

Saige tells this story as they are led into the Guild by Miquella.

"Cuddle pile with a pack of wolves beats inside next to burning tree corpses to stay warm any day!"
She smiles at Miquella and seems to think for a moment.
"Um, just some water I guess? I don't really drink much else. It's bad for the plants. I like tea, but I don't know if I want tea here. Unless the leaves and mixtures have been thoroughly inspected? I don't like forgetting."

“I’m sure if we both look at them really hard we’ll be able to tell if they’re poisoned!”

Saige takes off her boots and sits cross legged on a couch, making herself at home. She pats the seat next to her, encouraging Mari to sit.

“Okay okay, I have so much to tell you! But first I want to hear about the game you’ve been playing! I wish I could have come to help you, I love games!”

Miquella walks away for a moment and back again holding 3 small stone cups and a pitcher of water. He places the cups and pitcher next to the two and pours water into each. “Mari is this okay? I know you don’t like wood and I’m sure you do not care for metallic cups, so I chose stone instead.” He smiles at her.
