Return From The Library

Miquella takes a deep breath, and looks to Storm. “I assume you were with them. What is your view of the situation?”

Storm sits on the bed beside Saige and stays quiet while Saige tells their story. When she's finished, Storm sighs. "I would have just stayed behind with her but I didn't know what could be lurking in the library... I didn't stop them from dragging her into the circle either though so I feel pretty bad about that."

Miquella seems to look up and give a sigh, “So a few things. Saige you are correct. They should have given you a choice and let you choose what you wanted. You are your own person, and can make decisions for yourself. Next, you should also worked on compromised. Negotiated that you could have stayed to guard the room as long as you had food and water. If they attacked you even after that compromise then there needs to be a talk about the senseless attack. You should have kept your cool and come straight here. You put yourself
In danger by attacking them.”
He looks to Storm, “You are not to blame.” He then looks back to Saige, “What they did to you was wrong, and taken out of self defense, but we live in a world that if they wanted. They could punish you for taking that action.”

"It'll be fineeee, if Jade throws me in prison for a few days, I'll just have a party!" Saige gasps, "Speaking of parties! You missed the tea party! Wolfrum showed up, I've never met Wolfrum before!"

“You need to take to more seriously Saige. All it will take is you offending the wrong person.”

Saige's eyes narrow as she looks at Miquella. She sits quietly for a moment, thinking.

"If they get offended, so be it. Why should I have to live my life to anyone's standards but my own?"
