Return From The Library

Miquella looks down and plops down beside her, “Storm is right. They will understand because they are family. Why would the be disappointed? Plus, if they do try to tell you to go away Storm and I will be there to stop them.”

A missive appears infront of Miquella. He grabs it and reads.

Saige leans into Storm’s shoulder.

“I ran away. I’m a vampire. I might as well be a mage, it’s close enough at this point. I’ve strayed so far from what our family believes in...” She wipes her eyes. “They’ll find a way to turn me back to normal and drag me home and never let me leave again.”

She looks up as the missive appears.

“What is that?”

“It is from Jade. Saying she found something interesting, and she has to tell me something.” Miquella looks to Saige, “No they won’t. Rest assure I won’t let them, but you have to face them sooner or later my chaotic sister.”

Still crying, Saige gives Miquella a hug. After, she turns back to Storm.

“I hope you’re right. I know I’ll have to face them. As long as I’m not alone, I think I’ll be okay.”

Saige looks at the missive again.

“You should go talk to her. Don’t leave for the library without me though.”

Miquella smiles, “I wouldn’t dare.” He gets up and gives Storm a nod.
