A portal opens...

As the ritual comes to an end the magical aura begins to fade from the bowl. But in an instant the aura grows again and begins to change color. It shoots up Jade's arms and envelops her whole body before it fades completely. Jade screams out in agony and clutches her face in her hands. She falls over and curls into a fetal potion. Tears are streaming down her face as she struggles to breath between her pain filled screams for help.

Miquella comes from the inner sanctum and rushes to the entrance of the guild. He sees Jade on the ground screaming. Miquella rushes to her side ignoring all around her. He goes to pick her up (strength 1). He quickly looks around at the people around her. And proceeds to take her into the guild in an empty healing room. Once in the room he lays her down on a bed. “Jade what is happening?” He looks around and he yells “Marquanthis I made need some help!”

Jade claws at her skin and screams in pain.

"STOP! STOP! IT HURTS SO MUCH!"

With massive confusion, Astra quickly picks up the bowl. From a glance, nothing has happened with the bowl. After gathering it and resealing it, Astra comes over. “Jade?! What has happened??”

Noting her hands, she winces. “Oooh…that’s bad. Okay, let me just handle this!”

*Healing Arts*

“Ah, okay, that’s it! This may also sting…you’re doing great…”

Wrapping her hands in bandage she soaks it in a solution, cool to the touch to Jade’s hands.

“There you are, I gotcha..”

Jade attempts to restrain her as she starts to claw. “Jade I need to to tell me what hurts? What is hurting you?”

As Jade begins writhing on the ground, the alarms in the guild begin going off once more. The wards turn red and the guardians all move to stand in position in front of doors and entrances.

Miquella finds himself unable to leave the inner sanctum. He makes it as far as the hallway before everything goes back on lockdown.

There is a sudden rumble throughout the guild and the grounds outside the guild. As the earth begins to settle from the first rumble, there is a second, and then a third.

The trees in the guild garden part for all to see a humanoid being of light standing at roughly 35 feet tall. He towers over the guild and looks down at the commotion in front of the guild building. His eyes, balls of glowing light, seem to shift from the five Draconian mages, to Blodwulf, to Astra, and finally to Jade.
