Shackled Saige....

Storm sighs sadly. "I'm sorry you feel you can't stay here. I wish I could just make this right." She gives Saige a genuine smile. "When this is over, we'll find the rest of your siblings and go on a little vacation. Just the two of us. How does that sound?"

"Sounds perfect." Saige smiles, then her face falls. "If they don't let me out of here... I need you to go find them. I don't know how long Cassia will be alright, I don't know what they're doing with him. Just promise me you'll be safe if it comes to that."

She looks to Storm pleadingly.

Storm's smile drops and she squeezes Saige's hand. "We'll find them together, okay?" She sucks in a breath and exhales slowly. If- if they keep you locked up for some reason, I'll do my best to bring them home. Or... To their new home. But that's not gonna happen, okay? It's gonna be me and you."

Saige reaches to bring Storm’s face to her own, despite the bars of the cell. She kisses her desperately, clinging to the draconian as best she can. When she pulls back to take a breath, Saige looks Storm in the eyes and whispers, “I love you, Storm.”

Storm returns her kiss and when Saige whispers to her, she blushes. "I- I love you, Saige." She chuckles nervously. "Don't say it like it's good-bye. Okay? I don't want to hear it like that. I want to see your beautiful smile when you say it."

Saige laughs.

"It's not goodbye. I'd destroy the planes for you, remember? I'll fight my way back to you, no matter what happens, I promise." She caresses Storm's cheek. "It was just in case it takes a while. I don't know what they plan on doing with me. They might make me eat soup for a year or something, I don't know."

She shrugs.
