Shackled Saige....

Saige's face flashes with relief, but she tries to keep her expression cold as she approaches the bars again. She gives Storm's hand a squeeze before letting it go, then grabs Selena's.

"Okay. I'll show you both the library and the embassy. Then will you stop looking at me like that?"

She doesn't wait for Selena to answer and closes her eyes, starting to picture her memories.

Selena closes her eyes when Saige takes her hand and takes a few deep breaths before she begins.

A few short seconds later, she pulls her hand back and shakes her head, then grumbles and turns on her heel heading out of the jail without another word. Not an intelligible word anyway.

Edgar gives Saige and Storm a short bow. "Thank you for your time. We shall see you both at the trial."

He waits for a response from them, then follows after Selena.

Storm watches Selena as she takes Saige's hand and then watches as she leaves. She nods to Edgar. "Yeah, sure. See ya."

She turns back to the cell and looks at Saige. "I can't tell if that went well or not."

"Could have at least said when the trial would be..." Saige looks at Storm and shrugs, her cold expressions warming up again. "I showed her exactly what I remembered."

She sighs.

"I wish they'd let you in here with me. Or me out there with you. I don't want you in here, that would be bad."

Storm reaches back through the bars to take Saige's hand. "Yeah. I don't think they're gonna let that happen, Saige. But it's okay. This is fine. At least I'm allowed to see you. It could be worse." She smiles. "I think when the truth comes out, things will settle down. You'll be out of here in no time. Let the Knightmaster do her thing."

"You're right." She smiles back, then her face drops again. "Do you think Selena hates me now? She was looking at me like she didn't care, like we aren't friends anymore..."
