Saige visiting family...

"Yeah. Hopefully. Maybe I'll stop by if I get the chance to, we have to go to Tuatha to find Ginger anyway." Saige stands up and holds out a hand for both Storm and Cassia. "Alright. You have to come out of this room. I know it isn't home, but Mom is worried. Go spend time with them, it'll get your mind off of that cell. If you don't, I'll make you meet the rest of my friends all at the same time."

She grins mischievously, but her eyes are full of concern for her brother.

Cassia looks absolutely horrified as he takes Saige's hand. "No! I mean. I'd like to meet them eventually but not like that..." He looks down and away and then walks over to the bed where he sets his partially knit sweater. "I'll go out there but if Saffron and Sorrel are mean to me I'm coming back here!"

Storm accepts Saige's hand as well. "The twins are a handful. I don't know how anything gets done around here with the two of them constantly playing games."

Cassia nods. "Last time they took my sewing needles and hid them! I found them eventually pasted to the ceiling. I don't even know how they got up there to do it."

Storm chuckles. "Is this what having siblings is like? Constant war on each other?"

"That's an understatement." Saige laughs. "Next time we face somebody that wants to end the world, I vote that we just sic the twins on them. The problem would be solved in a day. But then we'd have to deal with the twins instead."

She sighs and walks back into the living room. Leaning over to Storm, she whispers, "I need to talk to Basil for a minute. Then we can escape."

Storm nods and stays by Saige as they re-enter the living room. Ruvean and Sylissa are on the floor with the twins, playing a game that involves sticks, leaves, and a few miscellaneous vials. Valerian is nowhere to be seen but Basil is walking out of the kitchen, popping what appears to be a berry in his mouth.

Basil freezes in the kitchen doorway as he sees Saige and then smiles. "Saige! How are you? You look good. And you brought your friend with you. Uhhhh. Storm right?"

Storm nods and smiles at him.

Basil turns his attention to Saige as he walks across the living area to circle her, inspecting her. "Okay okay. You look alright. So tell me. What have you been up to?" He continues to walk around her in a slow circle, inspecting every inch of Saige, his eyes darting to Storm when he gets close to her but he walks right between them to continue his inspection.

Sylissa, who has been watching the exchange, rolls her eyes but get's a stick to the face and returns her attention to the game.

Saige crosses her arms at her brother’s inspection, looking annoyed. She doesn’t answer his questions, instead she grabs his arm and starts to pull him down the hall.

“Come on. I need to talk to you.”

Basil stumbles but catches himself and allows Saige to lead him down the hall. "What? Did something happen?"
