Saige visiting family...

“Oh, Jade? Hmmm… I guess she’s doing fine. I just got to see her again after a while. You’ll probably get to talk to her more when we move everybody to Seshtau!”

Saige listens, the frowns.

“Which room is he in? I want to talk to him.”

Sylissa points down the hall. "The only door that's shut."

Sylissa grabs each of the twins and pulls them away from Saige so she can move freely. Saffron sticks their tongue out at Saige before the two run off to cause more havoc, trampling Valerian in the process.

"Want me to wait here so you can talk in private?" Storm asks.

"Just for a little bit. I'll see how he's doing, then maybe he'll be up for officially meeting you."

Saige gives Storm a quick kiss on the cheek, then heads down the hall. When she gets to the closed door, she knocks gently before sticking her head in.

"Cassia?"

Cassia is sitting on the floor in the middle of the room with his back to the door, facing the large windows. He lifts his head and looks over his shoulder, then pushes his glasses up the bridge of his nose.

"S-Saige!" He smiles but doesn't get up. Instead he holds up a small knitting project. "I'm knitting for the chicken. It must be awfully cold without it's skin."

He turns back to his knitting.

Saige enters the room, closing the door behind her. She walks over to Cassia and sits in the floor in front of him, smiling.

"You know, I hadn't really considered that. Maybe that's why undead are so grumpy all the time. I'll have to talk to Jade about getting them sweaters too."

She studies him as he works, checking to make sure he looks okay.

"Sorry I haven't visited sooner."

Cassia glances up at Saige and then back to his knitting project. "What's wrong with your eyes?"
