Noble Court - The Crown vs Saige

Miquella goes to open his mouth and say something. As the words start to leave, his chest jolts. He gives a slightly look of pain before it resided. “….I have nothing further to say.” He goes to sit down and rubs his chest slightly.

Connor pulls his chair back out and resumes his seat, "As there has been no further evidence to suggest the application of common law to diplomatic dignitaries, I hereby move for the summary dismissal of charges addressed today and for a closed session to determine the ramifications of perceived wrongdoings of persons protected by international treatises. The defense rests, Your Majesty."

Lord Seneschal Claude Faustus leans forward at his place at the table, "This court acknowledges the summation of arguments. The assembled Nobles will now deliberate for their final verdict."

He places his hand on a glyph on the table in front of him and a shimmering wall appears, encompassing the 6 Nobles and the King, blocking all sound from passing either direction. Once the meeting hall has been segmented, the room suddenly fills with excited whispers and murmurings.

Connor heaves a sigh and leans back, letting his head flop against the chair's headrest and closes his eyes.

Sofira turns to Amrynn and begins speaking quietly to him.

Kalil watches Connor with a smile on his face.

Storm looks around and listens to all the chatter around her. She catches a glimpse of Zuiigri and smiles with a nod at him.

The Draconian beside her watches Storm carefully but remains silent.

Zuigrii acknowledges Storm with a smile before looking back at Saige.

While she waits for the nobles to deliberate, Saige turns her head to Connor. She sees his eyes close and smiles a bit. She then looks up to the nobles, watching and waiting.

Selena looks to both Miquella and Connor, a mix of pride and sorrow in just her eyes before she steps backwards closer to Edgar without taking her eyes off the room for them to whisper back and forth in tovi over her shoulder.
