What do you all do to personally prepare for a larp game?

I listen to music that reflects what character I'm going to immerse myself in. I also try my gear on to make sure everything is right where its suppose to be so there's no fumbling around looking.

I make 1800 lists to make sure I don't forget anything and spend the week packing and repacking everything. Then spend Friday getting into the character's mindset via music and movies, and then realize once I get to site, that I forgot something important. :lol:
