A tired knightmaster

and her new icey draconian squire exit the manor portal. The two seem to be in good spirits, chatting back and forth with one another in a language that makes the other draconian soldiers around town raise an eyebrow and stare for a few seconds too long as they pass them on the way to the light guild.
"Es ùmtaw! nànesma wì banys àf d'o!" Selena exclaims and her and Edgar laugh.

"Outer ward down." Selena says as both her and Edgar reach the ward, their feet moving in almost unison as they cross the ward. "Outer ward up." She says as soon as their leading foot has crossed, snapping the ward up behind them as they finish their step. "Sèyi... Inner ward down." Selena says to Edgar with a nod, then lowers the inner ward, the two stepping over quickly in unison as before, her raising the ward once they've crossed.

Selena looks around the room, taking note of the renovations and new faces.
"D’à's hawbawliny nàj."

Edgar's eyes scan the room, also taking note of those present.
"Mèhmaps tàlgìer?"

"D’à nyìnys. Di baj."

"Guildmaster in?" She finally asks one of the recruits. "Will you tell him I'm here? Or point me in his direction?"

Coming from the back reaches of the guild Miquella approaches Selena and Edgar with a masked partner. Miquella has two satchels that hold his lion cub and eagle chick. "Today should be a slow day. That is a nice change." He says to the masked person then looks to the new arrivals.

"Hello Selena and Edgar." He says warmly. "I am glad to see you are back and safe."

The individual with Miquella is wearing a black mask that only reveals his blue eyes which widen slightly when he sees Selena. He quickly looks away from her and at the Draconian beside her, keeping his eyes glued to him instead.

Edgar bows slightly to Miquella as he approaches. "Guildmaster. Good day."

Selena smiles at Miquella and gives him a short wave, before she catches sight of his companion. Her smile dropping and her hand going to rest on her sword. "Gèw hà"
Edgar's eyes snap up to the companion as he straightens up, his hand also going to rest on the pommel of his sword. "Gèha Tàlgìer,"

Selena sighs and shakes her head and turns her attention to the lion cub and eagle chick. "Those are cute and positive and we need to chat." She says looking up at Miquella.

Miquella takes notice of the body language and tilts his head and smiles. As he does so he steps slightly Infront of Alaric. Then as if nothing is wrong, "They are so sweet. This sweet little chick is Aurora and this handsome little cub is Morani." He smiles at the two, "Of course. What is going on?"

Alaric says nothing and let's Miquella step between them. Though he is hesitant in taking a step back.
