A rousing good time

*slamming his kug down on the table and smiling broadly, blodwulf shouts the end of a sailing song* "keep the ale flowing, lady celestria!" *looking at storm he says to the bar keep" "bring my friend her a whisky!."

Storm finishes off her ale just as the barmaid brings her the whiskey. "Thank you, sweetheart." She hands the barmaid a gold piece.

She turns to Blodwulf and holds up her glass as if to toast. "So, I have one thing I require to make this deal official. You ever heard of a Soul Oath?"

*holding his mug up to storms glass* "I can't say that I have, lass. What is that? Is it similar to a bloody handhsake?"

Storm chuckles and clinks her mug with Blodwulf's before chugging down her whiskey. She slams the empty mug down on the table.

"Not quite. It's a ritual that binds us into a contract. If either of us breaks our word, the ritual kills us. Keeps honest folks... Honest." She smirks. "So what do you say? Willing to swear a Soul Oath to what we discussed earlier?"

*Looking at Storm, Blodwulf says. Lassy, I've no intention of betraying you. Part of the ship, part of the crew. * I don't wholly believe in magic and rituals and that sort of thing, but a blood bond is exactly as powerful, especially to one such as myself. *taking his cutlass and cutting the palm of his hand, you've got yourself a deal all the same. He says as he grins

Storm looks him over and looks at his offered hand. Her fingers tap the table as she thinks then finally reaches down beside the table to her axe. She brings it to her palm and cuts it open. She then takes Blodwulf's bloody hand into her own and shakes. "And just know I'll kill you if you break your word."

When they finish shaking hands she calls out to the barmaid. "More whiskey please!"
