An explanation for a complex emotion

He nods at Jade, “Thank you.” He then looks at his guild. “After the healing is done. I will start the process to rebuild. Fortify.”

“But… don’t you want to know what’s happened? We’ve been through a lot of shit. Zuigrii died. I have to go find the rest of my siblings…” She looks back and forth between them. “I can’t get them back without you two. The poachers are too strong.”

“Has Zuigrii been resurrected?”

“Yeah. And then he drank himself unconscious. His ass got skinned. Literally.”

“I was under the impression you were to search for your siblings first. Didn’t I say that going after the poachers would be dangerous?” His tone is neutral

Storm steps into the guild and looks around. Spotting the three grouped together, she waves. "Oh hey guys!"

She walks over, a big smile on her face, and looks between their faces. "Oh hey, what's up? What'd I miss?"
