Nighttime Drinks

((OOC: Open to everyone! We’re just having a good time chatting and having drinks! Anything can happen!))

With a smile, Astra walks in with her bag in tow. She looks around at the tavern, settling on a large table. She sits down, pulling out a set of tarot cards and a cloth. She lays out the cloth flat on the table, exposing the intricate design of star constellations sewn into the cloth. She shuffles the cards before laying down the deck.

Astra looks up, waving down a server. ”Good evening! I’m getting a blue magicks, an extra shot of vodka and blueberry syrup. If you wouldn’t mind as well…I’ll get some caramel fritters, with a healing potion baked in.”

As the server leaves, Astra continues shuffling her cards, relaxing at an open table.

*walking in and sitting across from Astra* "Miss Astra, I'd like to apologize for my overzealous response earlier at the guild of light. "Waving down the server* I'd like a beer, and I'm paying for both of these drinks." *looking at the tarot cards and adjusting his armor* " I see that you dabble in the occult"

Mari follows the group in, stopping inside the door to look around, cringing slightly as she looks over all the wooden tables and chairs.

"I don't like it in here. We're surrounded by corpses and no one seems to care. All of these trees were people. They were loved and important and had families and now we're just gonna sit on their flesh and enjoy drinks and dining." She rambles mostly to herself as she looks around, then shakes her head and continues on to the table.

"I don't think I'll be able to stay long. It's gross in here." She says as she approaches the table, and pulls out a chair, petting the top of the back and whispering to it before she takes a seat. "All this death is a shame."

Saige enters the tavern with Mari in tow, looking around for the others.

“We don’t have to sit inside if you don’t want to, but I don’t know if anyone else would join us outside. Maybe we could find a table by a window and open it?” Remembering her last interaction with windows, Saige quickly adds, “just don’t let me open it! I’ll let you open it.”

Astra looks up at Bloodwulf, a kind smile on her face. “Its quite alright, you didn’t know. I can’t fault you for not knowing. The Commander and I were simply just enjoying a chat, same as we are now.”

She sits down her cards at his remark, a different smile crossing her face. “I do more than dabble, Sir Bloodwulf. I used to live in the Sidhe. My noble house in that plane hunted occult things. Vampires, Owlbears, fey…we did much to help people in our realm.”

Astra looks at her cards and a lightbulb lights up in her head.

”Were you perhaps interested in a fortune reading? I love the fates and inner wisdom.”

“If it suits you all, we are free to move a table closer to the outside. I’m not particular.”

Astra smiles, picking up her cloth and cards. The way she stands is graceful, almost noble-like. “Please, feel free to pick the table.”
