“Yep. Side effect of the ritual but no complaints from me.”
He turns back to Nill.
“So a weapon not made of metal. Do you have a preferred fighting style? I can make quite a few things out of bone and wood. I can also do stone. Let me know what you want and I’ll see what I can do.”

It takes a few minutes before Zuigrii steps out. Storm would notice pretty quickly that he is a few inches taller than he was during their last interaction.
“Hey there Storm. I was told you got something for me to do and someone for me to meet?”
He finally fully looks at the two standing in front of him. He takes a second to soften his stance when he notices the pixie using Storm as a shield.
“I assume you are the someone that I’m supposed to meet?”

Zuigrii nods to them both. “I’m glad I could be of service. I’ll be waiting for that spear order. With that though I will probably return to Volaire. I’ve got a few projects I’m working on that could use some attention. If there is anything else you need just let me know and feel free to stop by the next time you need arms or armor.”

Zuigrii lets out a soft chuckle. “I’m not talking about normal armor. I’m talking about armor as strong as steel with a fraction of the weight. I can also make it for cheap with your help.” He pulls his tabard aside to show off his own armor.
“Ikaru, would you say you’re a more straightforward fighter? If so this would work but so would most armors. Julien though, you are a hit and run kind of fighter so lightweight armor is imperative. This material can’t be enchanted very well but it doesn’t need to be. It holds up and I know for a fact that the material components lie within this swamp. Insect carapace. I already have some I can use, but it’s a limited supply. If you decide you want any pieces, let me know. I can give discounts if you give me your word you’ll go with me to hunt down some more at a later date. Just let me know what you decide.”
Zuigrii stops for a moment before continuing. “I am glad I could provide a fitting weapon into your hands. I hope it serves you well for as long as you need it to. If it ever falters, bring it to me and I will do what I can for it. As for a name for it, do you have one?”

Zuigrii watches the dance of blades as the two spar, taking mental notes as they do.
As the bouts end and they acknowledge him, Zuigrii speaks up. “Oh I can tell a spear would be more your speed. In the bind you are more susceptible to quick feints and jabs. You are definitely a strong warrior though. Keeping opponents at a distance is definitely something I could see you excelling at. Do you have armor for when someone inevitably gets past your guard though? Do you have that extra layer of protection? Same goes for you Julien. Do you have armor that allows you to survive getting past the blade of a superior fighter? You are both excellent with your chosen weapons. I can fully see that. If you don’t already have something to cover your shortcomings though, please allow me to work towards solving that blind spot.”

As for seeing it in action, that would be perfect actually because I can also study how Ikaru fights so I can better specialize his weapon in the future as well.” Zuigrii fully steps back to give the two space.

“I’m glad you like it. I asked for Jade’s input on this part.” Zuigrii gestures towards the blade. As Julien looks he will notice the handle is a dark stained wood with a partial wrapping in a sturdy but softened leather so that it fits securely and comfortably in his hand. The blade is a simple design made for long cuts or quick stabs. There is not much ornamentation on the blade. The one exception is a small symbol etched into the blade where it meets the handle.
“I asked Jade what a symbol for a protector would be for the Haltijian people. This is what she sent me. I hope it will help remind you what you have already done and will continue to do for your people. I also hope, slightly selfishly I must admit, it will grant you the strength to protect my dear friend Jade as you further develop your relationship.” With that Zuigrii takes a half step back and bows his head waiting for a response.

Zuigrii turns to face Julien and holds the box in front of him. As he opens it the box is lined with a basic leather lining on top and a simple cloth pillow in the bottom. Resting on the pillow is a14" blade with a 5" handle. It is sheathed in a black leather sheath with simple designs. He picks up the blade, and holding the sheath, presents the handle towards Julien. “I didn't have a ton of design input on decorations but you seem to be quite utilitarian so I didn’t think you would mind simple designs and muted colors.”

He takes the offered hand. “I’m Zuigrii. It’s a pleasure to meet you Ikaru. I assume you are joining us to see Julien’s new weapon?”

Zuigrii stops for a second before responding “Your partner? I thought… oh. Oh yeah. Jade mentioned something about this in her most recent letter but I was slightly busy at the moment.” He end the sentence with a chuckle and a slight raise of the box.
“I am always open for a new commission. I can’t always promise a certain delivery date or budget but an order can always be placed. I should be able to do a spear. I’ll need specifics obviously.”
