Balasar comes back to the Mage's Guild from the Tavern and makes his way towards the Library, politely nodding towards any other members he comes across on his way. Once in the library, he begins to look around for books within his access on a variety of topics, ranging from telepathic communication, to magics capable of copying down large amounts of information quickly, to magical wards being used to capture creatures, and anything about 'plant dragons', though that last topic may be very unlikely to turn up anything.

He gives a nod and a quick shrug.
"I mean, that should probably work well enough, unless you expect people to try to listen in? Either way, I haven't gotten a chance to see the tavern much anyways since really getting swooped up into all these goings on, and it'd be nice to actually get a drink after all this. Shall we head on there then, miss Vesta?"
He gestures for her to lead the way to the tavern.

Balasar's smile will falter slightly before he quickly recovers.
"Oh, I didn't know that wasn't allowed. Thanks for letting me know before I ended up making a mistake."
He'll look back to Vesta with a slightly apologetic look, giving the back of his head a rub.
"Well, anywhere else you think we could talk about what you wanted to speak on? A warded room seems to be off-limits to nonmembers, sorry. I mean, surely there's somewhere else that would work."

Balasar will give a quick bow in response to her curtsy, and when he rises he has a curious look to what she would want to speak with him about that would be so secret.
"Oh? Well, I'm sure they'll allow us to use a warded room. I'm an initiate so I don't have full privileges to all the wards, but I'm certain we would be allowed to speak in one for a little while."
He'll look over to the woman who led him here, and give a slight nod, pausing only for a slight moment before speaking to her.
"Could you lead us to a warded room? I need to have a private conversation with my friend here."

Coming back with the young woman, Balasar looks over towards Vesta and approaches with a polite smile.
"Ah, Vesta, it's good to see you. I heard that you were looking for me?"

Balasar nods along as she explains wards and ward keys.
"Gotcha, gotcha. So I should have access to my room and other places where I'm currently allowed."
He'll look around the room that's meant to be his, a smile on his face.
"I can see it already... I'll definitely decorate my room up a bit. So, while my room is being cleaned up, I think I'll go dive into that library you had been talking about."
He then nudges Zuigrii before turning to head off.
"I'll leave you to talk with them now. If you need me for anything, I'll be in the library."

Balasar glances into the rooms where rituals are being cast with interest as we pass, but doesn't stop for too long at any singe room. Once Kethri stops and speaks about the library, he speaks.
"Just a few. Firstly, which room will I be staying in, and how do I get a higher rank in he guild? And lastly, are there any specific rooms I should avoid wandering into?"
He gives a quick glance towards the shut doors that were left unexplained as he speaks.

Balasar nods as Zuigrii speaks.
"You're right, you're right. I'm just not used to this level of responsibility, and this has been the most excitement I've seen since... well, my whole life, really. Never thought I'd be involved in something this calamitous, let alone alongside lady Jade and her inner circle. I'll be more careful."
He then looks back towards the direction Kethri was leading, then back to Zuigrii.
"Now then, we should probably get back to them before they wonder where we've walked off to. Besides, I can't wait to see where we're going."

Balasar takes the Seshtau favor off his belt and stores it away in one of his pouches carefully, giving the pouch a quick pat before looking back to Ketheri with clear excitement in his eyes.
"Sooo, as an official member of the Mage's Guild, where do I start? Any experiments need doing, or maybe some magical research to do? Where do I start?"
He then takes a quick breath and slows himself down to think through what needs to be done before throwing himself into his new guild responsibilities.
"I know that fixing this curse is first and foremost, so you should probably know that some of those gems in wall of that hallway deeper in the amphitheater are damaged and really need to be mended. I believe we were told it was leaking some sort of magic into the material plane and if all of them were damaged it could risk disconnecting us from the other planes. The golem before Flicker has the information if you ask it. I don't think it will happen anytime soon, but better to be safe than sorry."
