The previous ruleset for reading and casting rituals was as follows:

To be able to read a scroll, you must have the appropriate lore skill for the school. In order to perform the ritual and cast the spell, you must have the appropriate lore skill for the sub-school.

To align with current rebalancing, the above rule has been updated to read as follows:

To be able to read and cast from a ritual scroll, your character must have the level in Rituals as is indicated on the scroll. If the ritual scroll has a sub-school listed, your character must have a translatable lore for the primary school. For example, you would not need a lore to cast a "Summoning" ritual, only the appropriate level in Rituals. However, you would need Elemental Lore or Elemental Fire Lore to cast a "Summoning - Elemental Fire" ritual.
