All new characters will be allowed up to 4 events to obtain necessary physical representations for some in-play items! These apply to any new character, even for existing players.
1. Potion, Alchemy, and Poison Labs: We will assume that your character has or has access to these labs and will allow you to spend your full allotment of Production Points for your new character's FIRST 2 EVENTS. On the 3rd and 4th event, if you still do not have an appropriate lab physrep, you will be able to spend 50% of your allotted Production Points. After the 4th event, you must have an appropriate physrep to be able to spend any Production Points. (A lab may be used by only one character per event)
2. Spellbooks: We will assume that your character has or has access to a spellbook with all learned spells for your character's FIRST 2 EVENTS. On the 3rd and 4th event, if you still do not have a spellbook, you will be able to "study" only GENERAL (non-specialized) spells. After the 4th event, you must have a spellbook physrep to be able to study any spells that event. (A spellbook may be used by only one character per event)
3. Armor: A character will receive the maximum amount of armor available to that character's class for the FIRST 2 EVENTS. On the 3rd and 4th event, if you still do not have armor, you will receive 50% of the maximum armor available to the character's class. After the 4th event, you must have armor physreps to receive more than normal "Costume Armor" (5 points). To receive your free armor allotment, you must be in appropriate costuming.
4 Weapons: You may borrow a weapon from the game at no cost for the new character's FIRST 2 EVENTS. After that, a rental fee of $5.00 per weapon (maximum 2 weapons) will be required. If a weapon is not returned by the end of the event, you will not receive any experience for the event and you may be asked to pay a $10 lost equipment fee.
