“He didn’t show any immediate interest sadly but hopefully I’ll get the chance to talk to him again soon. He’s apparently a part of a group of mercenaries for hire that are planning to move into this area. I don’t know for how long though. He made at least one blade for the tavern that you might be able to inspect if you wanted to see his work for yourself though.”

"Mercenaries? hmm..." She glances up from her books to the puddle on the floor and points towards the mop in the corner with her quill as she turns her eyes back to the books. "Please don't leave puddles. Some of us are very clumsy and we will slip."

“I’ll get right on that. And yes mercenaries. He didn’t tell me why he was here exactly but hopefully we won’t have to worry about that group too much. Especially if they’re all using weapons he made.” He says this as he grabs the mop and cleans up the puddle.

"As long as they don't start offering their smithing services for cheaper than ours. Or take jobs from enemies of the kingdom. Eh, maybe we can offer him our forge, but charge a slight rental fee?" She grabs a book off the far side of the desk and flips through the pages and scribbles a few notes, then replaces it and returns to the book she was previously working on. "I'll have to work out a rate, but that could bring some profit into the guild."

“It seems he’s the only smith among them so worst case scenario he takes the individual commissions but even the best smith still has to take some time so the guild still has numbers. Plus it seems he’s only put focus into weapons. Not armor.” Zuigrii shifts his weight. “Speaking of using the forge, I was hoping to start practicing more and working on weapons and armor. Do you have any suggestions for me on things to work on?”
