Return from Seshtau

A few moments pass and Claire returns to the common room with Storm. Storm walks up to the Guild entrance and waves to Saige.

"Heya Saige! How ya feeling after the zombie eating fiasco? I know it made you pretty sick." She pauses as she gets closer to Saige and sees her teary eyed then rushes up to the ward. "Hey, you okay? Ward down." She crosses over the threshold. "Ward up. What's going on?"

Seeing Storm, Saige breaks down.

“R-remember how you said you’d still love me if I was a w-worm?” She can barely get the words out through her tears. “P-please don’t leave me, I like being your friend!”

"Woah woah woah! Why would I ever stop being your friend?" Storm shrugs. "Did you bring home a goblin? Cuz I really don't like goblins but even that wouldn't be enough of a reason to stop being your friend. You're too awesome, Saige. So what's going on?"

Saige tries to wipe her tears away but they just keep rolling down her face.

“Miquella left me and probably hates me now, Selena said I can’t ever go back to the manor, so I’ll probably never see her or Kalil or Zinna ever again, Miquella said the town is going to hate me and nobody’s going to want to be my friend anymore because I’m a vampire, I have no idea what I’m doing, everything is just so different all of the sudden and I don’t know what’s going on or why everyone is leaving me…”

She looks at Storm with pleading eyes, hoping that she won’t turn away.

Storm's eyes widen slightly. "You're a vampire?! How?! What happened? You don't look- well okay. You've always had fangs so you don't look any different." She taps her chin with a finger. "I suppose you should be okay as long as no one tells people you're a..." She glances around for any eavesdroppers and even though she doesn't spot any, she still whispers: "Vampire. " Then returns to her normal volume and grins widely. "At least you got one of the good ones eh? You don't smell and your flesh isn't literally rotting off."

Saige starts to calm down slightly when she realizes Storm isn’t going to leave her.

“I didn’t want to use my last wish on something stupid like eating another void zombie so I wished that I could be friends with anyone or anything I wanted, and now apparently I can just mind control anyone into being my friend, so now I have to have other people ask people if I can give them a friendship rock because I don’t want to mind control them,” she takes a deep breath, “And Hilok said that I’ll be able to do other stuff, but I don’t know what I can even do because I was trying to find a murderer who likes soup to try and mind control but all I could find in two prisons were hungry people and I felt bad and just wanted to break them out but I also didn’t want to get in trouble so I didn’t do that but obviously I can’t mind control people who aren’t bad…”

Saige rambles on without stopping, sniffling.
