A punishment to be dealt

The grass is still wet with the morning dew as the sun has yet to peak over the tree tops. The birds begin to sing their songs for the new day. All is calm in Volaire as most townsfolk lay sleeping in their warm beds.

However, on the major road that leads east out of town, two humanoid figures can be seen walking toward the Guild of Light. Baroness Jade and her flesh golem make their way to the guild and stand outside as if they are waiting for someone.

From the Foresetidale Embassy, Charlotte Greyshield can be seen exiting with a young blonde man by her side. Both wear Forsetidale favors on their hips and only he has a weapon on his hip. Charlotte instead wears a heavy sack on her hip and appears unarmed. She approaches the guild and smiles at Jade.

"Good morning, Baroness. A pleasure to see you." She dips her head in a slight bow.

The young man beside her bows to Jade. "Good morning, Baroness. It is a pleasure to meet you. I am Knightmaster Fallin." He rises again, his hand resting loosely on the pommel of his sword. He looks over the flesh golem but otherwise remains silent.

Jade curtsies to the two and returns the smile while the golem stays silent.

"Good morning baroness. I hope your journey was a painless one.

And good morning to you as well sir. I wish you luck in your new achievements. "

Miquella comes to the guild wards and brings them down and once he crosses over he brings them back up. “Baronesses.” He sounds irritated.

Sir Fallin smiles. "Thank you, Baroness. I hope to live up to the expectations of those who offered me this position."

Charlotte looks up as Miquella approaches the wards. Her smile falls as she senses his mood. "Good morning, Guildmaster."

Charlotte crosses the wards and Sir Fallin follows after. She turns to him and smiles, placing her hand on his chest briefly.

"If you would be so kind, Knightmaster, as to wait for me here. I will be safe within these walls."

Sir Fallin bows to her, folding his right arm across his midsection as he does. "As you wish, my Lady." He rises again and smiles to Miquella. "Good morning, Guildmaster."

Miquella simply looks at the group, “Hello Knight Master.” He takes a moment, “Is Selena joining us?”
