After The Chaos

The two princes walk hand in hand to the Guild of Light, surveying the damage around town as they go and speaking softly to one another in another language. Connor has his staff and Kalil has a sword on each hip. When they reach the front of the guild, Kalil stops and waits.

"Guildmaster Miquella around?" Kalil looks around at the destroyed guild.

"Are there still injured in need of healing?" Connor asks, trying to see past the entryway into the infirmary.

Despite the lack of wards, the two wait at the perceived entrance to be invited in.

A volunteer looks to the princes and makes their way inside. Moments later Miquella comes out looking exhausted and sleep deprived.

“Princes.” He gives a half effort bow. Not out of disrespect but more out of lack of energy.

“Did you both need anything?”

"You look exhausted. We came by to see if we could help with anything." Kalil looks worried as he examines Miquella.

"Are there still people in need of healing?" Connor asks, releasing Kalil's hand to step forward. "I'd be happy to lend a hand."

Kalil nods. "Whatever we can do to help."

“There is still some people that could use some help. I’m pretty tapped out so I have been just doing it the old fashion way.” He looks to the two, “some of the members need a little break to recoup. If you don’t mind helping with breaks to ensure that they are recharged and ready to go that would be wonderful. Thank you.”

Connor nods and steps passed Miquella to enter the informatory. He immediately goes to work soothing and healing anyone who needs it. Kalil follows him in and assists with first aid where he can.

Several hours later, after everyone in the informatory has been treated, Connor finds a place to sit and rest while Kalil walks over to Claire who has blood spattered robes and dark rings under her eyes.

"Sorry to bother you but do you know where Guildmaster Miquella is? I'd like to talk with him for a moment if I could." Kalil wipes his bloody hands on his pants.

"I'm not certain where he is but I can look for him. He may be resting in his quarters." Claire smiles gently and then turns to head for the inner sanctum, lowering the ward and raising it behind her as she goes.

Meanwhile, Kalil walks over and carefully leans against the wall beside where Connor is sitting. He tests it a couple of times before putting his full weight against the wall. Kalil smiles at Connor, who smiles back then leans his head against the same wall, closing his eyes, Connor's staff laying at his feet with one hand still resting on it.

After a few moment Miquella will make his way back out with Claire, “Thank you for all the work you have been doing. You have done so well.” He looks to the princes, “Thank you both for helping. You have done us a great service. I really needed a little rest.” He still looks tired but seems to be more functional. “Should be getting some supplies soon to help with stock. How has everything been going?”
