Looking for Astra...

"And I find it strange that a noble from some house in fairy land shows up here, now, and I'm paranoid. So, instead of just pulling every memory since you popped out of your mom from your head, I figured I'd be nice and just ask some questions." She remains calm, as she speaks, and crosses her arms over her chest. "Second question. Are you still communicating with anyone from your home, or your family? If so, have you told them anything about me, or any other dragon or draconian?"

Astra looks down, almost sad like as she tuffs the grass with her foot. “Other than Master Mendacium, who had left the family awhile ago and is here now…I can’t really get through to anyone, I don’t even know how. Even though I know how people leave, I never got to know how people got back.”

She looks back up at Selena. “And even then, I still don’t even know what a Dragconian is. Or any other dragons.”

Selena narrows her eyes at her and looks to Dorian, who gives her a simple nod, then turns back to Astra. "The scaly guys in black and white. And the whole thing with the platform and talking to people and all that. They're draconians and dragons. The king was here... announcing his heir..." She shakes her head and waves her hand. "Anyway. Are you or any member of your family involved in fairy politics? And you came here to find your brother right? Is that the only reason?"

She ponders for a moment. She thinks and then a light bulb lights up in her head. “Oh, those guys! I was passing when I saw the crowd. I’m happy to see happiness and love, so I probably should have congratulated them…”

She continues, very interested in what Selena said. “Faries have politics? I knew about fairies, their dust, and the properties of said dust for potion making but never considered that they had politics…I suppose that would be obvious huh?”

Astra smiles innocently as she chippers up a little. “And yes, whether Lucas is missing or simply lost is yet to know. I realized when he left and didn’t come home that I might be the only one who has a piece of him that could allow someone or someway to locate him.”

Selena watches her carefully as she speaks and purses her lips. After a few seconds of silence, she lets out the breath she had apparently been holding in a sigh and drops her arms. "Can you give me your word that you are not a threat to me and my family, and that if someone approaches you asking you to spy on me or harm me and my family, you'll tell me?" She shrugs her shoulders and tilts her head slightly. "I want to like you. I want to teach you, and anyone else who wants to learn how to defend themselves and their loved ones, but I don't trust fairies. Fairies and dragons have a long bloody history. I have to protect my king and my family."

As soon as Selena finished, Astra pips up immediately. “Knightmaster, I can swear to you and to anyone else you need me to. I’d do anything to win your favor if you asked me to. I wouldn’t let anyone talk me into hurting the people I consider my friends or some that could be more than just my friend. I am not a threat in any way not will I ever be.”

She gives a small bow. “I am exactly who I say I am. I’m a small, unknown healer and herbalist who wishes to get better, find her older brother, and return home or adventure with him.”

She tears up a little. “I…I miss him. If I lied to you, I’d let down my brother.”
