The sun is starting to set and the sky begins to turn a beautiful shade of orange and pink. A skeletal humanoid wearing a tabard of red and black can be seen walking from the wood line toward the tavern. It shambles inside and approaches the missive board. On its side, it has a satchel bag. It reaches in and pulls out a piece of parchment. It pins the note to the board and walks away.
The note reads:
"I, Lady Jade of Seshtau, am issuing a call to duel for Blodwulf. On the Saturday at the Feburary gathering of heros starting at mid day, meet me in the field in front of the tavern. The rules, should you agree to them, are as followed.
The first person to reach unconsciousness is declared the loser.
No other persons may join the duel other than the two consenting duelists.
No legal action will fall upon either party as a result of duelist.
No killing blows will be allowed.
Sir Dorian of the barony Foresetidale shall be present as an impartial judge.
Sir Dorian shall call start and end of the duel. As well as make sure the rewards are carried through and no rules are broken.
If Lady Jade is to win, Blodwulf is to formally apologize for his wrongdoings toward Lady Jade and the barony of Seshtau.
If Blodwulf is to win, Jade will allow Blodwulf to keep the dagger of explosion."
The missive is signed by Lady Jade of Seshtau and has a wax stamp on the bottom by the name. The stamp is of a skeletal hand holding a heart in red wax.
