In the weeks since the battle at the Cemetery of Lost Souls, and subsequent cultist and bandit attacks, fewer and fewer carts have been seen entering or leaving the city. Those that do dare venture out return beaten and broken, the items and cart they had before, gone. If they make it back at all.
Market stalls seem to be fairly empty if they even bother opening up in the morning, and the tavern's meals seem to be getting thinner and thinner. Less meat and vegetables, though there's plenty of fish options. The tavern crew thankful the docks weren't far.
Even the guilds are having a hard time procuring different components, including everything from ore for making weapons and armor, to ritual, and poison and alchemy components.
The draconian and undead in black and white guarding the city and the outskirts still have to deal with a few bandits trying to find their way into the city, but they are becoming rare, and for the most part the citizens are kept safe as long as they stay within the city walls. Only the most skilled hunters are permitted to leave in order to find food, but they are warned that no one can come save them should they run into trouble.
