A large Elf Dripping wet trudges into the tavern..

Astra gives a bit of a courtesy bow as she sits in her chair. She adjusts her round glasses on her face, making eye contact with Jade. Her eyes are blue and icy, but warm with her words.

“I am Astra Cadeum. I’m the sole daughter and soon-to-be Lady of the Cadeum house, located in the crest between the Sidhe and our mortal world. We keep the mysteries, mystical oddies, and terrifying creatures from Sidhe in check, as best we can. Think of us as a sort of occult-like hunters. I am also a potion crafter and alchemist in my other time.”

She digs in her bag for her journal with a child-like sense of excitement. Her eyes light up as she dig through the clinking of potions and crinkling of scrolls, pulling out the claw of an unknown creature. It is seeped in a black, thick liquid almost resting on top of it in its vial.

“For example, this is a claw of coyote afflicted by a Ramtovi curse. Naturally we disposed of it, but not before I managed to get my hands on a rare alchemy piece!”

"That is awful to hear. I know a thing or two about being separated from home. If you wish to return I can look into what it would take to make that happen."

As Astra begins to rummage through her bag Jade sits up a little more to peek inside out of curiosity.

"OH wow that is something. You seem to have a lot of whatnots in that bag of yours. And you say you're from Sidhe? We should get together at a later time about that. I have a scroll in my collection I think you could help me with pertaining to the Sihde."

“Oh my, are you separate from your home? I apologize if you are, I did not mean to make you upset or boast.”

She returns the vial into her bag, zipped away in a pocket. She flips through her journal, reading something over before closing it with one hand.

“…and yes, I am from as close to the Sidhe as you can get without being ON the plane. I do have tons of bits, bobs, herbs, scrolls, and crystals on me. They can be vital for setting up rituals or warding off unwanted daemons. Also, you mentioned a scroll? I’d be interested to take a look. See if it has any meaning.”

"I don't have it on me. It's in my personal collection. But if you can read formal scrolls I can show it to you later. I'm currently in search for the formal components listed on it."

“I’d be happy to give it a read or at least a decipher. I’m a gatherer of my own materials, so if you are looking for things in specific, please let me know. I may have some surplus. I tend to carry things like dried dandelion, moon water, forget-me-nots…”

Astra looks up and out the window. “Ah, look at the time. Its getting rater late…”

*nods*

'It was a good time to leave, at the time internal political strife and pressure from outside kingdoms made my Job and duties particularly difficult. So I set off in search of greener fields. 14 years and 1 indescribably bad storm finds me here Sans my ship, crew, weapons, etc etc. "

*waves down the keep and reaches into his pouch and pulls a large tarnished gold coin with unfamiliar markings out his pouch*

' This should cover the meal and drinks I hope, has been a while since I was in a place where I didn't know the exchange rate. Ill also Take a room for the night and bath. If that isn't enough Ill square the difference in the morning."

*He then Stands turns to the ladies clothes still damp*
