Darkness

The realm of darkness is not for the weak, unless the weak wish to be prey. It is cold, but it's that cold that you feel in your core, where no fire or blanket can warm you. If you even could feel the warmth from the fire you are sure you lit just there, two feet in front of you. Surely it's there? It's so... I don't want to say dark because that's redundant, but there is such a lack of all things light here. Even if there is a spark, it is devoured in an instant.

The creatures there... aren't right. Neither are the people for that matter. People who have had the light stripped from them over time. There is no hope in that realm. There is no loss or disappointment either. There is a strength in that I suppose.
