I'll start with the obvious. It's cold. It's that cold that seeps into your bones, and locks up your muscles no matter how many layers and blankets you have on. If you're lucky, you can build a fire, if you're really lucky you might be able to keep it lit. However, no one is lucky enough to hide flame from any of the inhabitants of this plane. They will hunt it down and snuff it out, along with anyone seeking the fire's warmth.
