Looking for Balasar

One afternoon, Vesta enters the Mage’s Guild alone. She approaches the front desk, offering a polite smile to whoever stands behind it.

“Good afternoon,” she says. “I’m looking for Lord Balasar Levine.”

There’s a brief pause as she folds her hands neatly in front of her.

“I understand he recently joined the guild.” She continues, tilting her head slightly. “I thought it best to check here before searching elsewhere for his whereabouts.”

The young woman at the desk offers Vesta a smile and nods. "Oh. Yes. Of course. I'll go see if he's available."

She gets up and heads down the hall towards the members quarters.

Coming back with the young woman, Balasar looks over towards Vesta and approaches with a polite smile.

"Ah, Vesta, it's good to see you. I heard that you were looking for me?"

Vesta drops into a practiced curtsy, graceful and precise. When she rises, she offers him a faint smile.

“Yes,” she says, smoothing her skirts. “I was hoping to get your opinion on something. Perhaps even your assistance.”

Her gaze drifts about the room, noting the other members present.

“It is quite a delicate matter, however.” She lowers her voice. “I would prefer not to make a spectacle of it.”

She pauses briefly, then asks, “Would it be possible to use one of the warded rooms?”

Balasar will give a quick bow in response to her curtsy, and when he rises he has a curious look to what she would want to speak with him about that would be so secret.

"Oh? Well, I'm sure they'll allow us to use a warded room. I'm an initiate so I don't have full privileges to all the wards, but I'm certain we would be allowed to speak in one for a little while."

He'll look over to the woman who led him here, and give a slight nod, pausing only for a slight moment before speaking to her.

"Could you lead us to a warded room? I need to have a private conversation with my friend here."

The young woman nods. "Oh. Um... Other than the ritual rooms and library... There's the guildmaster's office?"

She shrugs. "Non-members aren't allowed in those areas though. Um. Apologies."
