New Guildmaster

Selena and Sofira can be seen walking through town and towards the Guild of Light, chit chatting.

"Nessa is already throwing snow balls at her sister. Callie still hasn't quite figured out how to make her own ball of energy but she's figuring it out." Sofira says with a smile.

"Sounds like Nessa will be the mage of the two of them."

Selena has a black and white floor length skirt barely showing her bare feet as she walks, a faint jingling sound with each step. Her top is a simple almost see through white long sleeved shirt with a black canvas corset over it, her brightly colored scales visible through the sleeves. Her belt has a few new additions and now has a large red and gold kingdom favor hanging from the front center, a white and gold light guild favor on the right hip, and a blue and silver mage's guild favor on the left. Strangely enough, she only has one visible weapon on her. Her black bladed sword hangs between the kingdom favor and the light guild favor.

Sofira meanwhile has on a white dress the fades to blue along the top and bottom. Across her middle is a gold belt that holds a blue and purple favor for the Stormchild Kingdom. On her hip is a glowing dagger and on the other side a blue wand that turns the air around it icy. She has on a silver crown embedded with blue gems and she has a few bracelets and rings on as well. Walking beside her is a white tiger that is almost as big as she is wearing a blue collar.

They both walk up to the guild and Sofira tilts her head. "Let me. I'm curious." She steps up to the ward. "Outer ward down?" The ward lowers. "Huh. And inner ward down?" The ward lowers. "Neat. I wasn't sure that would work." Once they are both inside the guild. "Outer ward up. Inner ward up."

Sofira smiles at Marquanthis who is sipping a cup of tea at the resurrection circle. "Hello, Marquanthis. It's good to see you."

"And you, Queen Sofira." Marquanthis says and dips his head from his seated position. "How may I assist you today?"

"I'm here to speak with your Guildmaster. Is he available?" She looks around.

"I'm sure I can find him." Marquanthis says and sets his cup of tea aside. "Let me check his office."

Marquanthis stands up and heads over to the inner sanctum ward. "Ward down." Then steps through. "Ward up." And disappears down the hall.

Sofira and Selena go back to chatting while they wait.

Miquella walks to the inner sanctum ward, "Ward down" Once he and Marquanthis is through, "Ward up." He is dressed down in just his shirt and pants. He wears his favor on his belt, but nothing else is attached to it. He looks around and sees Sofira and Selena. He makes his way over to them and smiles. "Queen Sofira (he bows slightly)..Selena (he bows slightly). How can I help? Sorry that it took me a second to get out here. I am still reading through paperwork." He smiles.

Sofira dips her head in greeting to Miquella. "Selena informed me of your new position. I'm just here to offer my congratulations and whatever advice I can give." She smiles. "It was quite the surprise when they named me Guildmistress. It seems you may be in a similar position."

Miquella's eyes widen in relief. "I have so many questions. I am still putting records together and organizing them accordingly. I also have ideas to help progress the guild, but I am running into issues here and there as always. Recruitment numbers are down which is a big thing I am worried about at the moment though. I also still need to visit all of the baronies to make suitable standing and relations. Then on top of all of that I am still needing to train myself still." He says all of this in what seems to be one breath.

Selena listens and smirks as Miquella speaks, and nudges Sofira with her elbow. "See? Told ya he'd be a good guildmaster." She smiles and moves to sit on one of the tables, then quickly jumps back off, rolling her eyes at herself as she moves to sit in a chair. "Well, ask away. We're here to help however we can."

Miquella moves to sit down, “Well to start, the guild needs more experts or masters. Teachers who can train in different talents so that way recruitment may go up. I’ve been thinking of looking for someone to join the guild to be a Master of Lore. A librarian of sorts who will be tasked with teaching new recruits different information. I was also thinking of establishing a Master Potions. Someone who is willing to work on establishing the dedication of potion making to teach. Finally, I was looking into establishing guild knights. Guardians of the guild per se. How does that sound?” He takes a moment, “I also feel the guild may need a renovation. Increase different spaces.” He looks to Selena and Sofira, “Just out of curiosity how does a knight order start? Meaning, once you have a cause do you mystically obtain the ability to give life? Or is that something that is taught?” He looks up at the ceiling in deep thought. “Oh also I am thinking about doing a loan program. I wouldn’t mind establishing the creation of cheap wands that can hold a few healing spells. That way if there isn’t a healer that can help the heros. Then they can come here and purchase a wand for an unknown amount right now. If they return with it. Then they get their money back.” He shakes his head. “I am sorry I keep rambling. There is just a lot. Oh! Also, I am thinking about taking a short trip if I have the time.”
