"Master of lore. I like it." She pauses and fidgets with a strand of her hair as she looks down and thinks to herself for a moment, then sighs and looks back up. "Yeah I can make time to teach some stuff. Gather books and such. Shouldn't be too hard to get someone to replace me after a few months, maybe a year.... Some stuff can't really be taught in a class room, however. Like some stuff you have to live as the thing to really know, ya know? But I can definitely do a couple basics classes." She pauses and thinks to herself for a moment again, then nods. "And I have simply got to get some battle healer training going on here." She looks back up to Miquella. "And need to teach you how to conserve your magic. Don't be afraid to just stitch someone back together. Mother fuckers need to learn to get their own potions and shit, or at least pay for healing. I don't know if your group is better about it, but, my experience as a healer was we never made any money, and hardly got any thanks." She looks to Sofira, then back to Miquella. "One of the reasons why I shower you two and Jade with items and shit. I pay my healers."
She shrugs and leans back in the chair, drawing her sword and placing it on her lap as she crosses her legs.
"Don't really know too much about making potions though. I can make a few, but I don't know enough to teach. Knights, however, well obviously, I know some stuff. Though now that I think about it, I don't really know how you start a knightly order. or at least how you'd severe ties to the original knightmaster. Like. Ok." She leans forward and starts talking with her hands, the sword still balanced in her lap.
"So. A squire is sworn to one Knightmaster, and they're pretty much always sworn to that Knightmaster and will follow their code. And typically a squire can technically only be trained by that one knightmaster. They can learn from other people and train with whoever their knightmaster allows, but, when Kalil was my squire, he wasn't allowed to train with Dorian. I mean not really not allowed, but it's... taboo for a knightmaster to train another's squire. It's just not done. However, if... say you were specifically wanting to learn how to be a knight and learn what we do and how we can take other's wounds onto ourselves to heal, which, I'm the only one that can heal the dead that way. You may be able to... eventually... maybe. But, that was a very long, very painful training session, and it takes a lot out of you. You are taking theirs wounds from them, including whatever killed them. So, you'll feel like a sword went through your heart, or you'll feel your neck break. That's the worst for me." She stretches and rubs her neck. "That and punctured lungs." She shudders and pops her neck.
"But I'm sure Dorian wouldn't mind helping train you, or sharing with me to make it happen. It is for the guild and for the kingdom." She shrugs, and leans back in the chair again, crossing her legs and resting her hands back on the sword. "And we can both help you write your code. I actually wouldn't mind sharing my code with you even if you don't become my squire. Just... not here. I'll share at the manor."
"And, I don't agree with giving magic items to random people. I know it's just wands for the good of the people and on loan and all that, but it's still a magic item and they might not give it back." Her fingers fidget with the hilt of the sword and her rings as she looks down, her tone of voice suddenly sounding a bit sad for a moment before she shakes her head, squeezing her eyes shut. "No. Renting out healing wands to those that can and will use them is a good thing. They aren't my items. It's a good idea." She opens her eyes and rolls them at herself as she relaxes again. "Sorry. I really like magic items. Anyway, where ya goin?"
She shrugs and leans back in the chair, drawing her sword and placing it on her lap as she crosses her legs.

Miquella takes a second before responding, “The only reason why I don’t think I would be suitable for knight hood is because I focus on magic….Now if there is a way for me to still maintain my magic focus during a knight hood. That would be interesting.” He smiles at Selena and Sofira. “Oh…I would like to head home for a bit. I should be able to teleport there; however, it’s been about 30 or more years since I been there. There is a few things I want to investigate…..speaking of which I do think it would be wise now to maybe not just hand magic items to random people. It just worries me if I am not there to heal people when needed….I was also thinking of placing a simple enchantment on the favors as well. One where we can locate the wearer incase another incident occurs like Rochelle’s happens again.”

Sofira nods. "I really like the idea of enchanting the favors. I don't know why Ivan never did anything like that during his time here. I think that's a smart idea." She taps a finger to her chin. "As far as teachers go, Harrold was my light magic tutor when I was at the Guild. As in, he trained me and I had him training others when I was the Guildmistress. He's definitely reliable for it. Marquanthis doesn't really teach anymore. But he is a wealth of knowledge so if you ever need to know something, he's your Elf." She snickers and looks at Selena. "That's still funny to say."
She clears her throat. "Anyways, it was hard recruiting people during my time too and I was always out fighting this or that. We never really had time to try to recruit." Sofira reaches out and runs her fingers through the tigers fur while she thinks. "Enchanting the favors would be a huge benefit to members though. It would provide them with a sense of protection that no other guild can give. Plus room and board and free education. It would seem like that is a huge bonus to joining the guild. It's just a matter of finding the right people." The tiger sits and lets out a purr. "Hm... Perhaps, make the wands a standard thing for a member to have. Those that can use them anyways. That way any one of your mages can be a healer and they won't rely solely on you and Harrold. But renting out wands? I would think twice about that just because you are likely to never see that wand again. Unless you rent them out for the cost of the item. Then it wouldn't matter so much, but at that rate, they might as well make their own."

Miquella smiles at the white tiger, “Is that you’re familiar or just a friend?” He says while looking at Sofira. “I agree. I feel that nowadays it’s getting difficult for people to want to heal without actively getting paid. Which is why I am looking for other alternatives for payment for the guild members without me holding out a hand asking for money.” He looks so Selena, “Oh just a side note. I was paid for healing last month. From Zuigrii I think his name is. It was refreshing.” He then looks back to Sofira, “what would be your opinion on a light attunement?”

"I mean... I guess we can ... still make you a knight... maybe? I mean there's no rules that say Knights can't use magic. I use magic. I didn't for awhile, but I do now... And I guess you could work it into your code that using subduing spells against the unarmed could be ok?... I don't know. I'll have to think it over and see what we can come up with." She thinks to herself for a few more minutes then shrugs. "But other than you, who's gonna be the knightmaster for your light guild knights? Did you have someone in mind?"
"Enchanting the favors is a fantastic idea. Sparky should definitely get on making that happen." She looks to Sofira then back to Miquella. "And yes. Wands standard issue for guild members is much safer financially than renting them to civvies."
She tilts her head at Miquella. "What's a Zui.. gri... the not werewolf? Good."
Selena holds her finger up for a second, then puts it back down on the sword. "And I'm sending escorts with you when you go home. You're my charge and the guildmaster. You can't go off on your own anymore." She shrugs. "Don't worry. I'll pick some good, living, non dark guards for you."

Miquella looks to Selena, “I am not sure who yet. I’ll follow my intuition when the time comes when it comes to the appointment of a Knight to the guild. It hasn’t failed me yet.” He laughs to himself, “And, very well. That should be fine. Just make sure whoever is escorting me can hold a conversation. Your soldiers tend to be very grumpy when they are working.” He smirks to Selena.
