One morning...

Connor tilts his head slightly to the side and smiles, his normal glow returning to his disposition. When he speaks again, his voice is lively and excited, almost musical.
"Your presence is the only gift you need worry about! And a bit of energy." Connor giggles, "Zinna isn't going to give any of us a moment's peace unless we're dancing!"

Selena squeezes Connor's shoulder giving him a quick comforting smile before turning her attention back to Blodwulf.

Zinna scoffs. "Psh. Speak for yourself!" She waves off Connor and smiles to Miquella. "Yes bring me presents! I'd like jewels, but if that's too much I'll settle for children's story books."

Miquella looks a Zinna and smiles, “I have the perfect story, but it’s not written down. I will see what I can do.” Miquella looks around to see if there are any others waiting to talk. “I think I’ll take a step to the side for now. Congratulations again. I will be over there is you need me.”

Jade speaks to all three.

"Here is the most important question. What kind of cake will you have? Or will you have three separate cakes so everyone gets what they want?"

Kalil watches Connor as he speaks to Miquella and then gives his hand a squeeze and smiles at him. He turns his attention to Jade. "Huh. I hadn't thought about cake. I haven't had cake in a while. But I'm sure my mother will make something delicious. She'll have all the cooks in the palm of her hand."

Connor vibrates with glee, once again clasping his hands under his chin and making excited squeaking noises.
"Oh I hope so! Miss Nymera makes the best sweets! Sometimes she'll hide a pastry in her apron to bring to me. They're always so good!"

He closes his eyes as if reminiscing on a lovely memory.
"I'm so happy she's not working at the Weeping Rose anymore. Not that it's a bad place, but now I get spoiled on sweets!"
