Walking in the Tavern

Selena shrugs. "Knights can still use magic." She stops to think for a second. "Well... some magic. You wouldn't be able to kill anything with your magic. And he won't let you attack anything from behind. Even if they're cowards and turn away simply cause it's common knowledge knights won't attack from behind." She shrugs again. "But you could still be a knight. Just be a more magicy and stick knight instead of sword and board." She stops to think again for a few seconds, then looks at Dorian. "Does your code count undead as things you have to kill properly? Will you attack an undead from behind or ranged?"

"Well, you could still use magic but it may be a bit more difficult to learn with all the other things you'd be studying." He shrugs at Selena's question. "That ultimately depends on whether it is sentient or not. We won't attack living things that have cognitive ability. Killing a mindless undead, though, is like killing a deer."

With a yawn, Astra enters the tavern and sits at the bar. “Oh uhm, the usual for me please. Mind the spices please.”

Selena furrows her brow tilts her head, staring at Dorian for a few moments. "Hmm... interesting. You're only kinda bright though. I'm sure someone else's code allows for the outright slaughter of anything undead." She shakes her head, then looks back at him. "And I have a harder time killing deer than undead. Deer are natural creatures." She looks down at her glass and seems to drift into thought for a moment, a slight smile forming on her face, before she snorts, and shakes her head. Taking a sip from her cup, she spots Astra and gives her a short wave, then nods towards the back of the tavern to the female draconian with a smirk.

Miquella looks at the two talking, “I mean I always look for a peaceful solution when it comes to mortal beings. However, my interests is in magic.”

Selena looks to Miquella and shrugs. "Fair. There's still time though. I was more focused on my magics at one point too, so ya never know. He'll still be around for awhile if you change your mind." She grins and turns to Dorian. "Even longer if we can get you in a circle."
