Walking in the Tavern

Dorian seems to light up as he talks. "Ah. No. Theomund was not my squire. He squired under Sir Rolland, the Lord Protector of Foresetidale and one of my best friends." He takes a sip from his mug. "Let's see... Theomund is 25 and Tristan and Charlotte are 20. Despite the best efforts of Anna and a few other nobles, none of them are married. Charlotte is absolutely against the idea which I can say is fine with me." He laughs at Selena's comment. "I'm sure Charlotte would love to hear that." He glances at the Draconian female and Astra before returning his attention to Miquella.

Miquella tilts his head and then takes a sip of water, “I would love to meet them one day. I enjoy meeting new people and just making connections.” He smiles as he takes a deep breath, “How far away is the capital from Volair?”

Dorian looks up, thinking. "Wow. It's been a while since I traveled to Volaire on horseback. It's a quick portal jump for me but it's a few days ride on horseback." He grins. "I'd love for you to meet them! I believe you may have seen Theomund. He was at the trial for Claire Baker but he was all business so I don't believe he spoke to anyone. He's like that. A bit like his mother in that way though at least she knows how to let loose. He... Well, he's pretty intense."

Miquella smiles, “Oh? Then a portal could always work. Yeah, the trial was eventful to say the least. At the end of the day I am happy I was able to defend Mrs. Baker. She needed someone on her side.”

Dorian sips on his mug and then nods, his cheeks a little flushed. "Yes. I was quite impressed by you at the trial. You were asking the right questions and still defending Mrs. Baker. Now that it's over, I can say that whole thing was... Unpleasant. I'm glad that it's over."

Miquella wipes his face off with a rag and straightens himself up, “It was a pleasure to meet you again Sir Dorian and it’s always nice to see you too Selena. I should really head back to the guild to continue my studies…Sir Dorian if you need anything you can always reach me at the guild of light. (He says smiling) I look forward to meeting your children one day. (He then looks to Selena) If you need me you know where to find me.”
