Lockdown

Storm nods. "Aye aye, Cap'n. See you in a few hours." She walks off towards the ship with her glaive in hand and axes ready on her hips.

A short time later, Storm and a few rugged looking people exit the ship and head off together towards the woods surrounding Volaire.

Sometime later that day, Jade and Miquella can be seen heading towards the portal leading to Selena's manor.

Storm can be seen heading back into town, she watches as Miquella and Jade head towards the guarded portal.

"Hey, captain. The boys are waiting in the woods." She glances over her shoulder. "Aren't you friends with those guys? They seem like they're on a mission. Maybe they know what's up."

*looking at Storm he asks* "You ever spend any time in the service? Sometimes you have to not ask what's going on and just let a situation develop. Looking around, he says "something doesn't feel right. Like... lightning in the air. It's charged or something. Something is off and I can't put my finger on it. Anyway, I need our boys to go put eyes and ears in town to see if they can come up with any information on this situation. The more ears and eyes we have, the faster we can come up with a plan if the need arises. Let's go and brief the boys

She nods. "Sounds good."

Then turns and begins heading in the direction of the woods. Leading Blodwulf to where his sailors are waiting.

There are three men, each in their sailors uniforms, milling about in the clearing in the woods. They straighten and salute their captain as he and Storm approach.

"Cap'n!" They exclaim while they salute.

Storm folds her arms across her chest and grins. "There They are, Captain. Ready and waiting."

*Seeing the men he says* "Don't salute me. We're in the field, not the ship. We don't know if anyone is watching. Second, get out of those uniforms, you guys need to blend in. Third. All three of you, go out into the city and ask questions or eavesdrop on people and try to get some idea what the hell is happening. Storm, you and I are making a trip to see an associate of mine. I need everyone to keep their wits about them. We're going dry. No drinking. If I find out anyone has been drinking, you'll be flogged at the mast on the green and your rum rations will be withheld. This is a serious matter. Dismissed. *After the men have dispersed, Blodwulf looks at Storm.* " From here on out, no more calling me Cap'n. I'm just Blodwulf. No need in drawing unnecessary attention to us."
