Visiting Jade

Miquella looks to Jade, “It puts her at a greater risk. You will be the only one that can heal her, and she can no longer be cleansed if she decides to eat something she is not supposed to. Then as a result she can no longer ask people to be her friends without them being dominated. Once people catch on she will be seen as a danger. Plus, where is she going to feed? Can she feed on animals? Will animals even talk to her any more?” He says with a stern tone.

"Miquella, you're being unreasonable. All you're doing is trying to fear monger. There is risk with anything when you try to change your magical composition. I'm sure animals will talk to her. How is a non magical deer going to be able to sense undeath in her? They can't. They are just animals. And you are acting so uneducated. Of course she will be able to be cleansed if she feeds from a mortal. A cleanse is a cleanse. If she chooses this isn't right for her then we can reverse it."

Jade gets out of her chair and gets on her knees in front of Saige. Jade wraps her arms around Saige and hugs her tightly.

"Choose your words wisely, Miquella. Don't say something that you can't take back."

Jade pats Saige's head.

Miquella narrows his eyes, “It’s not fear mongering it’s the truth. It is the world we live in. If something occurs to her where she needs a ritual cleanse she can no longer get it done without taking away the curse.

As for the animals. They sense danger. She will radiate it in her state if she means to or not. She will be seen as a predator to them and they will act accordingly.

Then feeding from a mortal….once the people in Volair know that Saige will have to feed off mortals to survive. They will be terrified of her. They will see her as a threat.

And I am not uneducated. I am protective. I am protective of my sister. I fear for her. People are unpredictable. Hell she didn’t mean to harm anyone in the manor, but Edgar almosted killed her anyways. That is what I fear. So think twice before calling me ‘uneducated’”

"What do you mean if something occurs? Something already has occurred. A cleanse is the only thing that can reverse vampirism. Don't use it like a threat to make her do what you want.

As for the feeding, if you want something bad enough you will find a way. What about people on death row? We could feed her prisoners or monsters. Nobody has to know but us.

And stop trying to twist my words. I said you are acting uneducated. Or are you just hearing what you fear about yourself?"

“If she tells me today that she wants to be like this then that if fine. I will support and cherish her always. That also means she will not be able to access the full amount of what I can provide and then another way must be found. So it’s not a ‘threat’ to get her to do something I want. It’s a fact. By staying a Master Vampire she is shutting herself off from access to help she once had. Light will no longer heal her.

We do not dictate the choice of death of those who are on death row. That is left to the knightmasters. And I am sure death by blood draining from Saige isn’t going to be ideal. On top of that. I do not want her to have to go through that. It is one thing to kill in self defense or to protect the ones you case about. It is another to take a person who is tied down and to slowly take the life from them.

(He rolls his eyes and then looks at Jade.)

To say I am acting a certain way to the same as saying I am that way. Plus, I have been fighting this battle longer than you have been alive. Of course I have fear over this. But I fear of the unknown that can happen to her. That can happen to Saige. My Sister.” Miquella seems heated and annoyed. He seems focused as if he his mind is racing.

Saige watches with teary eyes as they go back and forth, and leans into Jade’s hug.

“I just wanted to make friends… what if- what if I tried it, and I could just eat like, really bad people that try to kill me? Like we deal with enough of that all the time… do I even have to eat a whole person? Or could I just take a little?”
