Knocking on the door of the Seshtau embassy

"It's not the darkness, although that does make me uneasy, I admit. It reeks of werewolf. I don't want to know what else."

Vesta sighs.

"I am trying to be as amicable as I can be. The Princess insisted that you are cousin, as did the Princes. I trust them, so I will trust you. For now."

She adjusts her skirts.

"I had a vision about you. Nothing dire, I just assumed you would want to know about it." Her eyes glaze over a bit as she recalls her vision. "In the vision, you were standing with two choices before you. Someone who represented earth, and someone who represented death. You were hesitant to choose, and your heart held much confusion, but you felt affection for both of these figures."

She blinks and looks to Jade.

"I cannot tell you whom to choose, or if this vision will even come to pass, but do not fear. Your heart may be uncertain, and love is a difficult choice, but the stars will guide you in the end."

Jade looks confused.

"And here I thought this was going to be related to the war. What does that even mean?"

Vesta laughs, her jewelry sounding as she does.

"Well I assume that you'll have two people wanting for your heart, but you will have to choose one of them to love. Or don't. I can't tell you what to do." She grins. "Do you have any potential suitors already? Earth and death... A wild elf perhaps? Or an earth mage? Haltija? Undead? Or perhaps someone you loved has since passed, and you cannot get over them? There are many ways to interpret a vision, Baroness."

Jade shakes her head no.

"Unfortunately, love is not a luxury I have had the opportunity to indulge in due to the current state of things. One of my friends wants me to court her older brother but our values don't match. And he is kind of annoying. "

Vesta smiles.

"Well, love is often found when you least expect it. Just remember that, when the time comes. Don't deprive yourself of happiness for the sake of a world that would burn itself to ash."

She gets up, prepared to leave.

"If there's any way I can help you further, please let me know. I would hate to see us estranged just because of my dislike for the darkness. A friend of the Princess is a friend of mine, or perhaps it's more of a cordial acquaintance in this situation, but I'll help any way I can."

Jade smiles and stands from her seat. She walks Vesta out trying to avoid any undeath in the building.

"Well thank you. I appreciate your willingness to work with me, even through our differences. I hope you have a safe journey and I appreciate you stopping by to share your visions with me. "
