A Half Fiend in Seshtau colors...

A Half Field in the Seshtau colors of black and red enters the tavern. He takes a look around the interior of the building, allowing his eyes to adjust to the dim lighting as compared to outside, before turning to the weapon storage rack to deposit a black and red quartered shield and an ornate black-bladed longsword that fades to silver near the tip.

He makes his way to the bar, carefully surveying the surrounding area. His face is blank and emotionless as he approaches the bar and sits down. He reaches down to his hip and shifts a leather-bound book hanging from his belt out of the way and reaches into a pocket. He produces a satchel which he sets heavily upon the countertop in front of him.

"Good day, Celestria." He says with a voice as void of emotion as his face, "This should cover the tab for the Barony this month... with a little extra."

He slides the satchel across the counter and then leans backward on the stool, stretching his back before leaning forward to the counter again. "And a handle of ale, if you wouldn't mind."

"I haven't seen you in a while". Celestria says as she sets an ale down on the counter before him and picks up the satchel. "I'm sure that will cover anything the barony will be wanting. Will you be wanting a bite to eat with that?" "We have a fine rabbit stew, thanks to the Fae".

Maximilian lifts the mug to his lips and takes a long swig before answering.
"Aye, it's been some time. My duties keep me to the road more often than I'd like, but I'll always find time to make it to the Weeping Rose for a drink and a bite."
He nods toward the large cast iron pot handing over the fire,
"If 'bit stew is what I'm smelling, then I'll take some."

Celestria turns and grabs a plate from behind her and dishes some of the stew onto the plate, grabs a spoon and sets it down in front of Maximilian. She then turns to get a couple slices of bread to give him. "This will make it easier to get all the juices" she says. "You are looking like you have been on the road for quite a while. There's a room available if you need to rest a while" she adds. She pours herself an ale and sits across from him. "What brings you back this way? Is there trouble?" She asks.

Maximilian tears off a piece of the bread and begins scooping the stew onto the spoon and into his mouth. He takes several bites in rapid succession and then washes it down with another long swig from the mug of ale.
"I'll take you up on that, m'lady. The moon has shown her full face three times since last I rested on an actual bed."
He takes several more bites and another long swig.
"Trouble? There's always trouble of some sort or another. But no, nothing of merit. My Lady Baroness just wanted to have all of the trade routes checked for bandits and other riff raff, so I've made a foot journey of it."

Watching the exchange between the newcomer and Celestria. He cant help but think "I've seen him before" Although he cant quite remember when or where. He gets up to walk over to him. "Excuse me, sir. I've seen you before. Were you on the northern road to the weeping rose, say... about 2 weeks ago dealing with some bandits?" He asked. " I believe I saw you as you were just finishing up with the last one"

Looking up he says "lady celestria, could I get a mug of ale, please?" Sitting a seat away from the half fiend. "Very fancy moves, friend. I'm Blodwulf Ravenhill." He says extending his hand.
