Fairy party

When Saige wakes up the next morning, hungover from the party the night before, she is surrounded by small trinkets. Bones, bugs in jars, bugs out of jars, feathers, rocks, leaves, anything small and interesting, however, they fey from the night before are no where to be seen.
There are still a few lingering earth fairies and the occasional pixie, however all of the chaos fairies are gone.

Mari can be seen with disheveled hair, chittering and squeaking loudly and fast back and forth between a chipmunk and a squirrel.

With only small flashes of her memories from the previous night, Saige looks around, blinking slowly, taking everything in. She starts to examine the assortment of objects around her, smiling as she puts each one in her bag. A nearby conversation begins to prick at her perception, and she looks up. After noticing Mari speaking frantically to forest friends, Saige walks over and speaks softly.

“Good morning, Mari.”

Mari spins around, her expression doing nothing to hide the sheer panic. "Hi. You're still here. Good. Ok. They're gone. I don't know where they went. Just some guy opened a portal, 'changed them a bunch' and they went with him."
She exhales and throws her hands out to the side. "They're all gone."

Saige frowns. “Changed them? What does that mean?”
Squinting her eyes, she looks around for signs of the fairies. Finding nothing, she looks down at her hands, which are holding a few of the items left behind. With a realization, she gasps.
“You don’t think they got changed into these really cool things do you? The fairies are gone but these were everywhere!”
Saige cradles the objects to her face, nearly in tears. “Oh fairies, you’re still really pretty to me, I’ll take you everywhere I go…”

"I have no idea." Mari sighs. "I don't think it meant changed them into those things since they also went with the guy, but..."
she takes a deep breath and clasps her hands together. "Might have meant changed their elements, but I don't know, that's not controllable. But probably not changed into those trinkets."

“Was it the purple man who got them? He’s the only one I’ve seen that can make those stupid magic portals. Although the fountain also made one… Is the fountain secretly a person pretending to be a fountain? They would be really tall, maybe it’s several people?” Saige begins one of her tangents, speaking for a while before, “Also, is it possible to have tiny little creatures living in the back of your eyeballs? Because it feels like they are fighting. It does not feel good.”

She paces around as she speaks, bouncing around and glancing at the surrounding scenery.

“We should probably go find them, right? They’re my new friends!” Saige turns to Mari hopefully.
