"Not just red." Eclipse speaks up. "The ones with glowing eyes still have their intelligence and mindset from life. The mindless walking corpses and bones have no mind and only attack for food or to defend themselves. I send out dark mages from my barony to collect these mindless tools. If there were undead attacking your homes, why didn't you report it to the proper authorities so we could handle it?"

He moves around the room. "No need to apologize for not knowing. I only have one more question left before I finish. Miss Baker, do you regret your choice of leaving your children, and going into the graveyard?" He pauses in his movement and looks at her closely.

Hope spreads across her face. "Yes. I regret my choice. I should never have gone to the graveyard or left my children alone." She looks to Eclipse. "B-baronness, I just... I didn't think they would care. They seem to like those things so I thought they wouldn't care. But my friend did report when she was attacked!"

"We do like those things , the same way you like your cattle and goats. They serve a purpose to you the same as lesser undead serve to us. Merely loose equipment. If an attack was reported, it was handled, and the undead responsible were either recycled or controlled and put to work rebuilding this kingdom." Eclipse pauses for a moment. "Would you like to take their place working nonstop with no food or water rebuilding the damage from the war?"

The hope that was once on her face is quickly replaced by fear. "N-no! P-please! No! I have children! I regret what I did and I won't do it again. I promise!"

Miquella look at the comments happening Infront of him. He takes a breath and faces the nobles. "I have no further questions to ask Miss Baker. As we heard from her answers there are a few things we must keep in mind." He takes a moment to look across the room. "First, Miss Baker's lack of knowledge in the law played a crucial part in the events that transpired. She clearly was not educated enough to make a sound and logical decision in this particular matter. I feel that education in both the proper stance of the city and of the arising culture of those in the grave could have helped prevent these actions from taking place. Knowledge is the first step of acceptance in this world." He takes a moment and begins again. "Second, for all of those who have experienced war and bloodshed. Ones initial actions can drastically change once one witnesses a horror such as battle. She went into the graveyard out of fear. Fear for her children and those around her. Her actions to run and hide stopped HER from breaking the initial treaty. She defended herself when she walked into the graveyard. She did not attack first." He takes a small breath. "Finally, I must state. I have no love for undeath. I will however work with those who deal with darkness if it means the betterment of this kingdom. I value life. Which is why I must plea to you now. If treason is the final verdict, and execution is issued. A few things will occur. Two children will lose their mother. As one who witnessed the death of his own mother during the war. I will never wish that upon a child." He pauses looking slightly sadden. "On top of that there are still those in this kingdom who feel the same as those who went into the graveyard that night. To execute her will make her a martyr for their cause and will cause more strife in this kingdom.” He takes a moment. “I have to say. I feel execution is too harsh of a crime for this situation. I feel that another sentencing could be more appropriate. I will speak it if I have permission to say it.” He looks a Dorian.
