Selena spots Jade enter and excuses herself from Dorian. "I'll be back shortly. Save my seat."
Then gets up and heads over to Jade. "Lady Jade! Congratulations, and condolences on your promotion! Look at it this way, you can boss people around now." She chuckles.
She laughs at having to care. "Right?! It's so much easier when it didn't matter what I did, now I've pissed off like everyone and everyone knows who I am and, yay fun." She shrugs.
"I've been well enough, kids are doing well, I keep trying to convince Jedash to let me have guests. Maybe now that you're a noble it'll be easier and you can come meet everyone! He's... overprotective."
"As you've said before, dragons are very protective of their precious hoards. And as for the children, you should bring them to see the ports once everything dies down."
Jade looks over and notices Miquella from across the room. She brings Selina over and introduces them to one another.
"Knight Master, this is Miquella. He was part of the party who helped in the graveyard. I know you have a special love in your heart for light magic. I feel you both would get along well."
She follows Jade over, trying to keep her darkness a decent distance from the light guild members, and gives a small bow to them. "Indeed. I'd probably still be a healer had I been dealt different cards." She chuckles to herself. "Yeah, piece of advice, if a deck of cards suddenly appears in front of you, ignore them."
Miquella looks at the two walking to him. He he’s the familiar face and nods. “It’s good to see you again Jade.” He then bows towards the other figure in response. “It’s nice to meet you as well Knight Master, and noted.” He looks around the room. “Are you all aware of how many more people are to show up?” As he looks as the group around him.
