After listening to the testimony of the women Miquella closes his eyes and proceeds to stand up. His guild colors present on his belt and the gold symbols on his face seeming to shift ever so slightly. "My name is Miquella Solus Vangeance. I am one of the citizens who assisted in stopping the undead in further attacking the city." Miquella looks over the crowd, and then directly at Dorian. "I would like to speak on behalf of Miss Claire Baker." He awaits on confirmation before speaking again.

Miquella walks to the middle of the room with his hands behind his back. He takes a deep breath and begins, "Esteemed nobles, we are in a crucial time. The decision made today will resonate into the future." He begins to walk looking at everyone in the room. "However, the situation we are in is not simple. There are multiple factors in play that can contribute to the actions that occurred that night. But, let me begin with the questions I asked Miss Baker when she made it out of the graveyard." He stops for a moment and looks at Miss Baker and back at Dorian. "Jade escorted her to me from the graveyard. When she was brought to me she was shaken, scared, and slightly injured. I then healed her, and asked what she was doing in the graveyard. That is when she told me she was with the group of commoners who walked into the graveyard." He looks at her calmly. "I then made the comment of how they started a war between us and the graveyard. If my group did not intervene when we did. This would be a completely different discussion." He looks directly at Dorian, "When I asked if she knew about the treaty between the graveyard and those outside the graveyard. She was confused, She informed me she did not know a treaty was in place between the two forces." Miquella looks at the chained women. "Miss Baker were you telling me the truth? Did you not know that there was a treaty in place?"

She shakes her head. "No. I swear I did not know!"

Dorian nods. "She speaks true."

A wave of relief flashes over her face. "I did not know. I just wanted to protect my children."

Miquella begins moving again, “Now, information is key to prevent things like this happening again. Without proper distribution of information. How is the law suppose to be upheld?” He takes a moment look around and see facial responses. “Miss Baker, earlier you said that you went with your husband. You said your husband and his friends are the ones who initiated the idea of going into the graveyard and you followed. Now, a few questions I have is did you hesitate any? Did falter at the door with the thought of leaving your children behind? Did you leave willingly, or were you pressured by those around you to join in the move to go into the graveyard?” He looks at Miss Baker calmly.

Claire looks down. "I-I was not pressured." She shakes with the effort of holding back more tears. "I agreed with them and so I went with them. I was tired of waiting in fear that those things would attack us." She looks back up at Miquella and shame covers her face. "I-I did not hesitate to leave them alone. I knew they would be okay. I've left them alone before and they were fine!"

Dorian again nods his head, his face still expressionless. "She speaks true."
