Saige runs up to the door...

One evening, Saige runs up to the door at the Guild of Light, looking around frantically before knocking and attempting to turn the handle. When it doesn’t open, she pulls her hood closer, trying to disappear into the fabric.

She begins whispering, “Miquella!”, waiting for a response before continuing, “I need you to open the door!”

She tries the handle again, looking over her shoulder.

Miquella can be seen at the other side of the ward, “Saige? Outerward down.” He moves to her. “What is going on?” He looks concerned

She runs into the building and ducks behind a nearby plant, attempting to hide. Peeking through the leaves, she says, "I saw Basil! He's here! I think he saw me so I ran, I couldn't check to see if he followed me because I had to jump around some rats that were dancing in the street, I didn't want to step on them so I kept running here, but then at some point I got super lost, but there was this nice old lady that was just standing at a corner and was pointing in a direction and so I followed, and then I saw the Guild, and now I'm here!"

Miquella take a second and listens to Saige, “Well come in and you can hide here for the time being. I’m interested to see Basil if I get the chance.” He smiles, but then looks into Saige’s eyes, “I’m also interested in these dancing rats. Are you sure they were real? I know you were hallucinating before.” Miquella turns around and grabs Saige by the arm to guide her. “Outer ward up” then he makes it to the inner part of the guild “Inner ward down, inner ward up” and puts her down at a chair and tablewith water waiting, “are you still seeing and hearing things?”

“Okay, okay…”

Saige sits at the table, slowly sipping the water. She occasionally glances behind her just to make sure her brother isn’t anywhere to be seen.

“Oh, yeah, the rats were totally real! I’ve seen them before, just not as many as I did tonight. Maybe it’s like a rat party or something going on. That would totally make sense.”

She fiddles with the glass a bit, staring at the water.

“I don’t know, Gloop finally stopped talking to me, maybe he flew out of my ears while I was sleeping? Mr. Deer Skull Man has been showing up a lot more, not just in my dreams! Although he usually disappears if I try to run after him. I have noticed an increase in people wanting me to follow them though. Is that weird? Sometimes I’ll try to follow them but the guards stop me before I can leave the city, and this morning I thought I saw Amrock but it just turned out to be some random guy. He screamed at me for making him drop his eggs or something, I totally didn’t mean to and he was so mean, so I glued all of his doors and windows closed.”

She thinks for a while, then continues, “I just didn’t expect Basil to show up so soon! It’s going to be a pain trying to hide. He’ll totally find me eventually though.” Her eyes move to a figure behind Miquella, “Oh hi there!”

Miquella seems to linger on her words as if analyzing them. He takes a moment and sips some water. When she acknowledges a figure supposedly behind Miquella he glances seeing no one. Then looks back at Saige and smiles, “Saige, there is no one there. I still think you are seeing things. If you wish I can help you see more…clearly if you want.” He says those words calmly. He sits relaxed while his hand seems relaxed as if getting ready for something
