Saige runs up to the door...

(OOC: The ritual is a success with no alterations.)

Saige nods and mumbles a quick “Ready!” before covering her face with her hands.

She sits motionless, awaiting the ritual.

Miquella sits down and closes his eyes. He speaks a language unknown to Saige. His voice moves in a rhythmic motion chanting and he grabs components and places them in front of him. He touches the circle as light begins to trace around the circle filling the lines that are placed into the group. An audible humming can be heard from the magic that moves around Saige. After a few moments of changing energy begins to collect in Miquella’s hand. He takes the energy and moves it to Saige as it enters into her chest. The warm feeling brings peace to her almost like a warm hug from a loved one. As his eyes open and he moves his hand away from Saige. Brining a darkness with him of any curse that once plagued her. The darkness seems to evaporate into the air.

“Okay Saige, it’s fine now. How do you feel?”

After the ritual is completed, Saige stands back up and brushes off her skirts.

“I don’t think I’ll ever get used to the feeling of magic, I don’t like it.” She frowns. “I feel fine, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, you can tell me if I’m still hallucinating people or not.”

She smiles at Miquella and starts walking over.

“Thank you for helping me! I guess it could’ve gotten really bad if it was some kind of bad magic.” She taps her fingers, focusing on her thoughts. “I wonder if there would be a way to prevent it, because I really want to go see the gloops again…. I also really want to go visit the rat party I saw! And speaking of rat parties, the spiders were having a party too!”

She turns to Miquella and continues. “Remember how I said I was going to go visit all the spiders? I tried to talk to them, but they really didn’t want to talk to me, they just wanted food. Oh well. Maybe I can be friends with the next swarm of insects. Just not ladybugs. I hate ladybugs.”

Miquella nods, “The way to prevent it would be a cloak against curses. You would have to wield a magical item though. I will be happy to join you to see if you’re still hallucinating. However, you should wear this.” He give Siage a cloak, some charcoal to smug on her face, and ties up her hair would some twine. “The cloak has a hood, and you can use the twine to hold up your hair to hide the red. The charcoal can be used to hid most features under the cover of the hood. This should help you hide if your brother is out there, but if he does fine you come back here.” Miquella’s smiles

Saige grins at the disguise, excited for the potential shenanigans that could be completed with it.

“Well, I think I’m going to hang out here for a bit, then go out later. Don’t want to risk it.” She thinks for a minute, “Do you want to help me draw some pictures for my family? Like we talked about? I don’t think we figured out any other way to send them a message.”
