Saige runs up to the door...

Miquella laughs to himself, “That should be good. I will work on sending this now. It shouldn’t take long.” You see Miquella begin to work the ritual circle once more with the parchment in the middle. He moves his hands and speaks in a language Saige does not know. He opens his eyes and you see the paper lift in the air and disappear. “Okay I think it worked.”

Saige covers her face with her hands. “I’m so nervous! What if he gets mad? Well, I’ve never actually seen him get mad… what if my mom gets mad? Oh man…” She sighs. “Maybe it’ll be okay. They’ll know that I’m okay now and there’s absolutely no reason to come looking for me, right?”

Miquella takes a moment and thinks, “Listen, if they miss you enough. They will come to try to find you. That is what your brother is doing. Now you’re an adult. So, if they do come looking for you. All you have to do is say, ‘I am an adult and I am okay. Thank you for your concern.’ You never have to go with them.”

"You're right..." She sighs. "I'll have to go visit at some point though, we have to go do our annual visit to the towns to sell our potions and stuff. But that's still a few months away. Plus I want to go visit my friends back home, I owe them some games and tea parties. Maybe we can all go and I'll introduce you! And then I can come back, and make even more friends."

Miquella smiles, “That sounds like a wonderful idea. Just give me the month you want to go, and we will go.”
